So I went to buy some shoes yesterday, and I discovered that somewhere in the last year and a half, popular clothing has becoming to fucking faggoty for me to wear anymore.  I just couldn't do it.  So I had to go and buy more adult footwear since every pair of Vans I saw was looked like some shit you'd find the Jonas Brothers wearing.  It was a weird experience, finding out one is too old to wear trendy stuff anymore.

Pros: No longer look like 16 yr old, twice as comfortable as any skate shoes I've ever owned

Cons: costs twice as much as any skate shoes I've ever owned, actually require one to take care of them.

the last pair of vans i owned my gf said i looked like a 15 year old skateboarder, then i got a new pair and she said she liked them *she is 5 years younger than me* then someone else told me I they look like im a 15 year old skateboarder again... its just one of those things.. wear whatever you want. I have a badass pair of boots I wear some of the time.. but as far as sneakers go you will always look either like your dad wearing a white pair of reebroks or some cool teen in vans/converse.
