Having a fractured heel fucking sucks. Reminded me of a lesson: jumping is most likely to cause foot injury. Avoid jumping significant distances unnecessarily, particularly onto hard surfaces, and if you do so, learn how to land properly. Still managed to limp to the post office. I want a cane if this doesn't heal quickly, I should have one in case this happens again. I think I've actually seen canes just thrown out. But you need to get high to see over crowds and know where the action is.

Black bloc (left-anarchists) there. Tons of windows smashed downtown, and I mean multiple large panes absolutely shattered, trash bins set on fire and newspaper stands dragged into the street to slow down police. Banks, McDonalds, then later on they broke into a Whole Foods and I saw some people with wine and probably other alcohol. Don't know the entire list of things that were damaged.

The police were absolute pussies, and that was with multiple other forces helping them! Only a few people were arrested later on. Given how liberal this place is and that the protests were allegedly about Blacks being killed by cops, recent events, it isn't surprising. They stood back and let them do whatever they wanted, no exaggeration. They could have easily surrounded the black bloc group. Seems they were split into two main groups. I don't know how well organized this was, they are almost exclusively stupid teenage and college brats, but if they really had the balls and intelligence the damage they could cause is immense.

The video shows the result of IV injection of tianeptine. It is very widely misattributed to "krokodil" (desomorphine), even in the YouTube description. However, in the video at 3:15 you can hear the doctor asking the patient "вы вводили коаксил?" ("you injected coaxil?"). Coaxil is one of the the brand names of tianeptine sold in Russia.
Be careful with this shit! Do not IV it!

This person is injecting the ground up tablets. The pure tianeptine sodium power is just as bad. It is too caustic to inject peripherally.

I will add, that even using pure powder, the solution is highly caustic and can and will result in fibroused and collapsed veins. I had only come across one case report of hepatoxicity in humans. If there are reports that I am missing, please send me the links and I'll go over them.

This is interesting:

Tianeptine is a more efficacious and potent opioid than the recent article that looked at it's binding affinities makes it seem. Many anecdotal reports describe IV tianeptine as being subjectively as potent as heroin. Users have described the "rush" and the subsequent "nod" as being similar to heroin. It is possible that the Ki and EC50 numbers in the article are wrong. It is also possible that there exists an active metabolite with a higher Mu binding affinity. The seven carbon chain on tianeptine allows the molecule to push easily through the BBB, just like the acetyl groups do for heroin. I would like to see Ki and EC50 numbers for the metabolite that arises after cleaving the carbon chain. The metabolite would be structurally similar to W-15, 1-Phenylethylpiperidylidene-2-(4-chlorophenyl)sulfonamide, which is more potent, by a factor or at least five, than morphine.

I saw that during research about slamming it. The dude that IVed that didn't use the pure powder, and the necrosis was attributed to the binders in the pills since they are only ~13mg each. I don't know if that was true or not, but the syrupy consistency did freak me out a bit (and this is coming from someone who shot up morphine oral syrup), if the shit is too gelled up to pass through a cotton, there's no way I'm putting it in my veins, hence me adding a shitload more water to it.

I'd like to take a pH reading of a supersaturated solution of tianeptine to see what it is. I wouldn't want to miss with the shit, like I said before.

I also wouldn't say the high is like heroin, definitely more "energetic" like oxycodone, not as sedating as heroin, with the peripheral effects of morphine (i.e., crazy itchiness and hardcore nausea). The rush was weird, I don't really remember it since I haven't used it again, but I remember thinking "oh shit, I dun goofed" when it hit me (and my lungs). I didn't think it was going to do anything but make me spew my guts out, but then I was hit with an awesome wave of euphoria and I nodded out for a good minute or two. The peak was probably a good minute or two after the plunger was down, which was also weird, because other opiates hit me in about 20 seconds.

The semi thing was really just a fluke. A staph infection can happen to anyone, even in a hospital setting, when giving an IV. How bad would minor impurities from extracted DMT turned into a salt be anyway? I mean, considering the the typical quality of what people IV, would there be anything in there (residual plant matter) that would be that bad if you rarely did it? Or was everyone in every thread I read about it just being overly anal?

I sure as hell wouldn't risk it, or at the very least I would do it very rarely; and as you said, missing could be an absolute nightmare. I'm not familiar with IV, so I don't know if there's anything you could add to the water or use instead to increase the solubility. The solubility in water is very poor.

It wasnt a gas attack, they just used chlorine granules (sodium hypochlorite) for pools. They could have added some HCl for chlorine gas though.

Do you have the solubility info for PEG? It's equally soluble in water, (m)ethanol, and DCM.
