I'm thinking about IV'ing the DMT instead when I decide to do it. Amusingly, LSD steered me in this direction after reading some posts of his on Zoklet.
. In fact, as Hydro pointed out, it is much more efficient than any other route of administration. So are you saying that Sasha Shulgin was wrong for administering some of his drugs through the IV route? Or that Dr. Rick Strassman was wrong for using this ROA when doing his experiments with DMT? Those men are both scientists and were using the most reliable route of administration when doing a scientific experiment. It controls many variables which would otherwise be unaccounted for, and it is the most reliable and effective way to administer a chemical, as well as the only way of knowing EXACTLY how much of the chemical actually ends up in the person's bloodstream.
It's not just about how efficient the actual dose itself is; IV'ing anything makes the experience MUCH more intense and come on nearly instantly, and with something like DMT, that is often desired. I can only imagine how insane blasting off into hyperspace in just one or two seconds would be. Certainly much more rewarding than having to wait for two or three, maybe more, hits to absorb into your bloodstream through your lungs. With something like DMT, many would love to be able to get the entire dose into their system simultaneously and instantly. It would certainly intensify every aspect of the experience, including the spiritual and rebirth aspects of it, as well as giving your ego no time to fight it. If you are entirely accustomed to the process of intravenous injection and don't have any ethical objections to it, or see it as negative in any way and don't believe it to be an assault on your dignity, then there is no reason not to.

With video and sound you could do some very interesting things (not naked ladies). Imagine stealing a password/key code, business information, blackmail, using it to greatly assist various types of high level crimes etc. Immense possibilities.
