Many left in droves because of it. So it was all fun and games for awhile, but it got old fast. And that's exactly what will happen here. It'll still get emptied out, only it will take awhile before it happens. And it will happen. At least with just a handful of honest contributors you'll always have the BBS and there will always be a chance of bringing in more honest posters. things are different now than when totse was around.  Back then not everyone had computers, and it was mostly the domain of smart and curious people.  Now anyone can buy a phone, I literally saw one the other day for 10 bucks and you buy a 25$ phone card and you can go online and post here.  Everyone has a computer, every last mouth-breathing moron out there.  There is nothing you can do about the changing demographics of internet users.  It is pretty much 'adapt or die', with 'death' being the phenomenon I referred to earlier where there are 10,000 forums out there with 'quality content' that are nearly empty.  'totse' is dead, and shitposting is the future.  If it is any consolation, there will probably be some other socio-demographic-technological-geopolitical event or series of occurrences that may take the current trend in other directions sometime in the near future.  Maybe forums with just one huge freaking thread or something.

Actually, SpectraL would be somewhat right if we were just trying to do a site which only focused on the spreading of information. But we focus on more than that. We focus on freedom of speech as well of course. Moreso the latter to be honest.

Perhaps we should reach out to other websites though and see if we can't integrate a little with them to draw some quality posters from there to here.

I haven't taken the time yet though...but I bet if you did a Google search of...."let's all hold hands and love and niceness will conquer all"...I bet lots of similar quality(?) forums will pop up. On the downside, you may want to change the name of this section though....because any soft-skinned do-gooders that you are trying to attract might be frightened/scared off by seeing the naughty language right there on the front page.
