I think I agree. Lanny was one of my favorites on Zoklet. I know Slave modded some of my forums prior to my modship, and while I wasn't aware of him then, I think I like him based on the stickies and other relics he had left behind before I joined the team.

Lanny has already shown he can't be trusted with any kind of authority. I mean, what mod bans a member who has broken no rules over three thousand times just because that member has an opinion or thought that creates personal butthurt? If I walk into a restaurant and take a bite out of my burger, and find that it is still pink and cold in the middle....can I make the declaration that the chef fucked up and/or doesn't have a clue what he is doing? Or do I really need to go open a restaurant myself before I can make a credible and qualified assessment of someone's lousy cooking?

If the majority of the userbase don't fucking want someone as a mod then the Admin/owner saying 'but it's my site' is like pissing into the wind. Except when the wind drops it doesn't mean you've won, it means people are going elsewhere and your site is dying because of your stubborness.

In this case it doesn't matter if you insist she's so far abided by your rules for mods and your reasons for modding her were sound (!?), she's turning you into a laughing stock.
