That's some bullshit MTV term isn't it? You stupid Jew.

it was a term coined by a faggot.  its being promoted by other faggots in an effort to indoctrinate more straight males into being faggots so the original faggots have more faggots to practice their faggotry with.

same situation as with those skin-tight jeans for men and the whole 'metrosexual' fad.  the faggots are promoting the rampant faggotry and the non-fags are too weak minded to realize this so they go around behaving like a fag so the faggots are happy.

anyone that uses the term bromance is either a faggot trying to create new faggots out of non-faggots, or a recently faggified faggot who may or may not be aware that faggots have brainwashed him into faggotry

fucking fags

I agree with you 100,000% in a non-homosexual way.

But, please expound more on the Jew element.

jews run hollywood, the overall entertainment industry, advertising, and the media.  jews are proven sexual deviants of the highest order.  theyre not the brightest bulbs in the tool shed but theyre devious so they know enough to use their influence in the propaganda industry to peddle their sexual perversions.  there are entirely too many stupids that are susceptible to being told what to do and how to do it, which encourages the jews to behave in the entitled way they do.

and they wonder why no one likes them

I almost find this incredibly ignorant that someone actually asked this. Gay people have friends too that they aren't sexually involved with so.. naturally.. I assume there are gay guys out there that probably hit the gym or bar together, but don't do the deed.. There's no intelligent evidence or thought process I can conspire to conceive otherwise.

In the intense emotional situations the OP describes I think it would be less likely; het' men obviously have no sexual attraction to each other, from which a physical relation can evolve from an emotional one. That of course does not preclude the possibility.

Since it is acceptable for gay men to have intimate feelings and relations with each other, is it still possible for them to have bromances? I should probably define bromance here so we're all on the same page: Bromance - Those relationships you often see between men who serve together in a military capacity, the deep connection gang members are constantly talking about, that sibling like trust, respect and adoration women cannot experience or understand.

Discuss.

Oh, the breathless faux outrage of it all!

The OP is talking about a deep fraternal bond as theoretically shared by some heterosexual men, in potentially life-or-death occupations or roles. The gay people I know wouldn't be too fucking impressed that your counter-example of gays having a 'deep' bond that just involves doing some cardio' at the gym then going for cocktails afterwards.

It's one of the most insulting comments in this thread.

You consider relating a deep fraternal bond to the term "Bromance" and criticize me? Really now? I don't think those two are one and the same..

Loyalty to your fellow man in the sense that you describe reminds me of what brothers in arms and war buddies might have had. I would hardly call that a Bromance.

Uh... I was military and we used the therm bromance all the time so.... Yeah. Let's not argue terms here, you understand what relationship I'm trying to convey via the term so answer my question - Can gay men hold this type of relationship?

What you call it is irrelevant. The OP has already been quite clear if defining the term within the context of this thread.

Ah, you got me there.. Suppose it's a matter of opinion really. Nonetheless, I still can't forsee any real possibility that homosexuals couldnt share the same qualities to meet the requirements of the definition. I mean sure, if you want to assume the basis of the male homosexual community on it's stereotype (often portrayed as men who exhibit stereotype femenistic qualities).. Then I would have difficulty seeing them exhibit what has been definied as a "Bromance". However, some gay dudes appear and partake in all similar stereotypical activities of straight men, besides the fact they either give or take a dude in the ass. Just want to point out, that I'm not assuming you are basing your opinion on what I just said.. It's just the only way I can try and wrap my head around the conversation and try to make sense..

Perhaps, the better question would be why couldnt homosexuals exhibits the qualities of a Bromance?

Edit : And honestly, I'm a little uncomfortable with how many times I've had to type...... Bromance, today. I feel about as dirty as  would telling someone YOLO.... gah, I think a part of me just died.

You misunderstand. Gay sterotypes aside, men who 'love' each other on that level - don't you think if the sexual boundaries weren't there (as they aren't with gay men) that such a friendship would naturally progress into a romantic/physical one? Hence the question - Is it possible to bro love without love loving between the bros?

But I've thought about it and I actually think it is possible but only AFTER they've fucked the shit out of eachother's cornholes and decide to date other people and out of respect for their new perspective partners - refrain from occasional butt fucking of eachother (until they break up or have a little upset of course)

So I'm just going to throw this out there because it seems obvious now.. don't know why I didnt think of it before.

Here's the breakdown.. There is 2 Brothers... one is gay... I think that situation counts, as being family shouldn't disqualify the notion of a Bromance.

Edit: Took out all the quotes.. just unnecessary to have them filling up space.
