lololol 100K Hyundais.

Meh better then paying that for a shitty benz that won't be worth five grand in three years. Love my Genesis and could care less what a welfare bum thinks

In 3 years your Hyundai will have fallen apart and gone to the wrecker. Meanwhile my old german car has been driven hard for over 40 years and still works perfectly. And I only paid $1500, yet I still get strangers gawking and asking if it's for sale. If I did sell it I could get anywhere from 5-10K, since you care so much about resale value. The point? Intelligence would've gotten you a better car for way less money. You have very little intelligence.

And, I'm not a welfare bum. U mad?

That's fine. To be honest I don't really care about the cars, I just find your whole situation hilarious. Your concept of "nice shit" is a little flawed so you're just easy to make fun of.

I drove a $60,000 KIA K900 the other day and It was pretty nice. It looks a lot like the Lexus GS but doesn't drive as well.

Of course, they're good cars because they emulate the best cars. They're still "cheap" knock offs though

Yeah, they look really nice, but there's no way I'd drop 60k on one until(well never) they've been time tested and hold up well. I'll stick with my Audi A8 and my 2014 Malibu - One thing I'd note though, is I never thought I'd buy a Malibu. If you haven't seen the 2014 model, you should check it out. I bought the LTZ turbo charged model and it's an incredible car for the money. The design looks nothing like the old Malibu's, and I picked it over the new Chrysler 300's and 2014 Impala's.

It's funny you mention that, I just got back from holiday the other week and we took a rental car - a 2014 Malibu - around BC. Just the standard 2.5 with 6 speed auto. Really leagues better than the older cars, I totally agree with you. Apart from the shifter, that gay ass switch on the shift lever for manual mode. And the awkward shifting down into 5th from a cruise at 60 KPH for even a tiny bit of acceleration makes it surge annoyingly. And there's no fucking trunk button. You need to use the key. Gay. If it had that, a proper manual and... perhaps RWD (lol), I would strongly consider buying one too.

Though... if you look closely, even Chevy is copying the europeans  ;D

I know what you mean, I've never been a big fan of the automatic manuals. Luckily with the turbo, I don't really need to down shift that often to gain enough acceleration. I bought the Malibu for a family car, so I'm usually taking it pretty easy with the kids in the car. When I want some fun, I jump in the audi.

That's strange about the trunk button - You're talking about on the key fob right? Mine has 5 buttons - Lock, Unlock, Trunk, remote start, and Emergency. Along with that, it also has a small button on the trunk itself that you can press that opens the trunk, along with electric closing. Must be a higher end model thing. Did yours have the Nav with the backup camera's and motion censors lights on the side mirrors?

Along the lines of the manual modes/ My brother has an audi R8 with the paddle shifters and I don't mind driving that car at all haha. Although I would prefer an actual manual on a car like that.

A button on the trunk you say?

Ah - I just googled it and found there is indeed a button on the trunk, mounted on the center brake light. lol. We never even saw it. The car was black and I didn't really check the manual. Apparently I did a derp. I checked all the usual places, GM usually puts it either on the inside of the door pocket, or in a little cubby hole underneath the steering wheel, or in the glove box, or there's at least a key hole clearly visible on the trunk. I thought you could only use the fob, that would be a dumb idea once the battery wears out. Oh well.

I got to drive an R8 V10, 6 speed manual complete with gated shifter. It was just sexual. If only I got to use all the gears :(

But, that is a seriously nice car. Personally however, I think I would want just a manual Audi S4, debadged with maybe a few upgrades. Perfect road car. I think if I could just buy whatever new car I wanted for daily use, I would take an S4 over my second choice (a GT 86 - you know it as the Scion FR-S) solely on the grounds of practicality. Classics are more fun to thrash, there's no faggoty driver aids or power steering, so I'd be inclined to keep a car like my 2002 for that. On the other hand, I could just as easily never buy a new car and continue driving classics until I can no longer drive them.
