These guys used to be one of my favorite bands at an earlier age.. nothing wrong with a little nostalgia.. And they always amped up the catchy chorus, couldn't help but to like it.

and..

....

and while I'm at it, I'll throw in some Foo Fighters

Enjoy!

Lol rise against. I was just thinking about them today. I think the "gay kids song" was real high/low point in their career depending on your perspective.

It's been a good while since Ive listened to Nirvana songs, all in a row. Its honestly hard not to get burnt out by every teenage angster out there who has a mild worship tendency when it comes to Cobain and the band. But, I can't hate too hard.. This music was the soundtrack of a very gritty time in my life.. living between friends houses and out of my car. It was good times, mixed in with some bad times.. and a lot of drinking, smoking, toking, among the other things I was trying. Anyways, glad I was inspired to listen to some of their tracks.

Rise Against reminded me that I used to listen to this in high school:

It's not as good as I remember it...

Ah, that happens far too often. It's odd thinking about all the musical phases I've went through in such a relatively short period of time. I practically grew up on classic rock and Led Zeppelin.. but I suppose I played it so much that nearly as soon as one of their songs comes on the radio.. I'm nearly forced to change it, besides a few certain ones that never really get old.. Haha Last night I was reliving my emo music phase.. a lot of us went through that one, but atleast they had some interesting lyrics and wild looks. Not going to say I haven't wore eyeliner before.. and.. I rocked it.. lol. Anyways, I've been listening to this guys covers.. Must be a savant. I really enjoyed his cover of "Paint it Black" in particular.. he kicks it up around the 2:00 minute mark.
