I don't know if this was already discussed in the PDF, but if you have a basement that's not conspicuous from the outside of the house, you can simply use that as well and cover up the entrance with a bookcase or whatever you like as long as it covers it up nicely. Of course though, it's most likely not going to fool any police doing a thorough search.

if you want to really hide something dont do it on any property you own or that 'they' know you frequent.

cops get paid by the hour.  the longer they tear a place apart...the more they get paid.  and the more likely they are to find your sekrit hiding spots
