A Thanks system would not be good at all because it's inaccurate about 3/4ths of the time. Some posts get thanked simply because a user or users like each other. More intelligent deserving posts can be ignored in favor of a post that's simply really funny... It's not a good idea at all. Trust me.

Why not have a thanks and for that matter a fuck off button that way it could go both ways.

Yeah I don't think a rep/thanks system really works here. Maybe a thread rating option and even then nobody really uses those or pays attention to them.

What you really need to do is remove abusable features like signatures, make pictures thumbnails, etc.

I have to agree I think people abuse the signatures to often Some of them take up half the screen and it gets to be bothersome after awhile

Best idea yet! I could see the admin saying something about the fuck off button being abused or use towards members you dislike. I think it would be fun to have tho.

too true, I could even get ahold of any of the admin for some reason when i was trying to get an account some of them where just slipping and the ones trying could keep up or didnt have the power to make the changes needed
