Like 5 times today you've told people "well if it sucks so bad y r u still here? y don't u go then haha bye" which is beyond fucking juvenile. It's almost like people have an interest in the community and don't like seeing it destroyed, which is especially disheartening when the "admin" of it meets people who genuinely care about its concerns with "haha well leave then I'll make MY site as terrible as I want." The fact that would even be your reaction says a LOT about your competence to run this site.

Wow. So informative. That's all I need to know. You're SOMEONE and you know how to make this site BETTER along with a mysterious group of people which you conveniently haven't named but OK. Where's your credentials? Experience? Technical knowledge? Financial situation? What do you plan to do differently in general? You've answered exactly none of those things. The rest of what you said has nothing to do with yourself.
It'll save headaches and I feel like it could simplify alot of the assanine things people are bitching about/ wanting... people want a thanks button... fuck it put it to a vote... it seems like most everyone has a legitimate want for this site to thrive why not give it a try
I DID put it to a vote and I TRIED to implement one that would suit our needs and I couldn't. Furthermore, anyone with admin privileges will be able to look at PM's whenever they want to and further, will have access to everyone's email. It has to be someone that can be trusted.
look Arnox, I was on zoklet, I was on totse from 2005-2009. The two main precursors to this website you were never a part of, then wonder why you seem so out of touch. I know a fair bit of python, modded forums with much more traffic than here before, am relatively well off financially, have a good idea what to do. The totse/zoklet "brand" has undoubtedly been sullied by this website. There is no emphasis on fostering the content (bad ideas/BLTC, BB) that brought everyone to the community in the first place, people are banned for the most trivial of fucking things and moderation is ENTIRELY micromanaged. There's been no advertising on other websites, even with fucking spambots. Nobody is copying and pasting shit they find on other social media platforums/the internet and vice versa because there's no incentive to do so and things are overmodded into oblivion.
The "fringe" quality has been abandoned in the name of one that satiates your desire for control or making a friendship circle or something, I dunno really, but I can tell is that it's in direct conflict with what the community should be about and what everyone wants it to be about. I don't expect you to sell the website to me, although I would likely be willing to pay the fees and whatnot for the opportunity and work steadfastly towards making it better, you should just consider how everything (that I've seen) you've done since sept 2nd has only served to disenfranchise the userbase.
And please, you think anyone gives a fuck about the burner emails and uninteresting PMs of users on a website with a few dozen people on it? Nobody does, why would that be anyones intention, even coming from a "bad ideas" background, I believe anyone would have higher aspirations than that
