I grew up on a small farm in Dallas in the late 60's and.... wait a minute.

What I especially love about this latest twist now that we know Arnox has been lying and manipulating all these weeks, is how it reminds me of a lot of people I've dealt with IRL many times over the years. People like Arnox DESPISE up front, brutally honest folks. They try to portray my style as being a weakness....as if not being nice enough, polite enough, or having a rough delivery is somehow bad. All the while they try to champion their very soft, passive outlook as being a "positive".

But just like in Arnox's case, when it all comes out in the end....these holier than thou passive little bitches usually end up being liars, backstabbers, game players and manipulators. In their demented minds because on the OUTSIDE they acted "nice" they think they are better than everyone else....when in truth they have some of the darkest and most selfish hearts imaginable. The reason they try to demonize and admonish people like me that are up front and in your face....is because they are just stupid little cowards, not having the backbone to stand up to folks and call a spade a spade. Instead, they just hide in the shadows like squirrely little rodents clinging onto the rhetoric of....."but I'm much calmer/nicer/more polite than that guy", when in the end they are just snivelling little scumbags.

As I've been mocking Arnox for several weeks now...."being nice" isn't necessarily a commodity that is something to always be valued or relevant in a lot of things in this world. And now as it turns out, someone that cares TOO MUCH about "niceness" is just hiding behind that facade, all the while being even more despicable and ugly than the people that don't give a fuck about delivery or tone when discussing the cold hard truths about this world.

C'mon, guys. We're not here to make mincemeat out of anybody. We'd just like it if the staff would finally get their shit together and do things right, that's all. It doesn't have to be an Us vs Them mentality at all, as long as this fiasco doesn't continue. But as for Zek, I'd suggest just change your nick to Zek and start considering taking more accountability in your comments across the board. You're held to a higher standard now, so you just can't come across as anything less than professional. Your personal life is irrelevant.

Shit, that sounds pretty reasonable. Not being familiar with Zek's modding style beforehand, I haven't really seen cause for alarm thus far. I don't think the nick really matters, but I'm trying to understand why it was felt that this required secrecy.

I first registered hoping I could just post without the boring harassment that happened on zoklet, so I was decidedly not Zek.  Then when I was modded it remained a "secret" to hopefully cut down on drama.  By the time RisiR outed me most of the site knew who I was regardless.
