ITT lets discuss how we can actually resolve this whole thing.  I have a list of tentative solutions at least as far as staffing issues:

#1 get the staff all on the same page

#2 clarify your rules

#3 come up with a system to actually address user complaints in a way satisfactory to both parties

Any other thoughts?  Because otherwise, arnox and staff, you will lose.

I know this is a B&M thread, but I'm actually interested in how we could improve everyone's experience at the Sanctuary.  Thoughtful and constructive suggestions would help, but that wouldn't necessarily fit the topic of this thread and forum.  Don't worry, I wouldn't delete your posts if you went a bit off topic and decided to post constructively as well.

If you notice, no one has said a peep to you about the deleting posts.  Everyone knows that it was obbe who was the faggot, and you were just doing your job.  I have no complaints against you as an individual.  If I do refer to 'staff', it is as a monolithic entity, so nothing personal.

I think the amount of rushed and hurried decisions while being incapable of listening to accurate but opposing viewpoints should be of top priority for address

The place needs to grow organically and for that to happen users need to have a voice even if the admin might think he knows best because without users a forum is useless and as can be evidenced the activity has been steadily dropping since inception

I can think of very few people who see hypocrisy worthwhile in a place to disseminate information

honestly I don't see the reason for the we won't delete anything under any circumstance rule seeing as there are in general reasons to delete some posts if they truly are so outside the realm of what a thread is about they add clutter to contributions and can a lot of times ruin the readability of a thread

I have a recommendation for staff trying to run a free speech site...'hands off' is a good rule of thumb when running such a board.  At least give us one forum where we can post what we want.

I am not advocating flooding or CP, or incriminating or exposing others PI.  Those things can be an exception, for the sake of the integrity of the forums. 

There have been users banned for posting 'spam threads' in half baked...what the fuck for?  There is too much 'micromanagement' and competing agendas here, talk about derailing a thread, management here is managing to derail the entire website....
