So, because I am suggesting that we be allowed to have a place to post 'contentless garbage', that the forum will inevitably be ruined?  I am sorry, I just don't see it....this 'taking the argument to extremes' thing is kinda getting old. 

Sometimes you just have to compromise.  And by my suggestion, giving a little to the 'shitposters' and letting them post in two forums, means that the 'garbage posts' will stay in those places, and out of the legitimate threads with 'quality content'. 

I would understand if someone is warned, has their thread moved, or even eventually banned, if they post gibberish in the drug or cooking forum....but to warn and ban someone, and lock their thread, because they posted in SG rather than HB, is just lunacy.

But the kidiots can't keep it in HB, that's the actual problem, and that's always been the actual problem. For example, before I became the bad guy (and what initially caused me to go on my rampages against kidiots and administration, incidentally), I used to be a major contributor in Science of the Damned. And then these HB kidiots started coming in and repeatedly ruining the spirit of the conversation there. Eventually, no one wanted to open up about anything on topic because they didn't want their well-thought-out contributions trampled on by mindless imbeciles who weren't there at all for paranormal conversation. They fucked over the entire forum eventually, and it was a great forum, and it didn't take long for them to empty it out either. And now you're saying it's alright? You know, that kind of mindset really, really pisses me off.

I'm not talking about off topic posting at all, I'm talking about kidiot shitdrops.. ICQ-chat-Lite garbage, posting histories chalk full of utterly useless crap all across the discussion forums. This has nothing to do with off topic posting.
