Opening Lockers
« on: October 11, 2014, 02:39:05 pm »
So SWIM goes to a school where the lockers look like this

Some kids jam them so they don't work and SWIM used to parade around for those, but exhausted her supply. Also, SOMETIMES if a kid shuts the locker and doesn't turn the dial after, it won't re-lock.

So the question is, how to get into these lockers? Obviously has to be relatively quiet and discreet.

Who leaves their cellphone in their locker? If you left your cellphone in your locker, would you leave it unlocked? Expensive clothes... my school had a dress code and I'm sure this is highly-dependent on location. How about a nice graphic calculator? Anyone that feels inclined to actually buy one of those will either have it on them or they would actually have their locker, safely secured. Also, most schools these days have cameras, not sure how you would plan on circumventing that facet of your mastermind plan. The one and only thing I can really even see this being remotely profitable is if your school had a big drug problem and a lot of really stupid drug dealers. That, and once you start driving, you have a car to keep all your shit in.

A clever and super easy way of getting into someones locker, which I thought of in highschool, and successfully used is, when a person has the locker unlocked and is putting stuff in/taking out they almost always hang the open lock on the locker latch until they are done, then lock it up and leave.
During this time you stroll by and get their attention away from the locker for even a second and replace their lock with an identical one that you have the combo to.  When they are finished they will take the lock you replaced and lock their locker, walk away, and assume their shit is safe at which point you proceed to unlock your lock, open their locker and do what ever you were planning on doing.

Yeah, you've never done that. Not unexpected though, this is the internet, after all. All that to get, what?

Breaking into lockers isn't only to steal. You could plant all kinds of shit inside for all kinds of purposes.

I believe the key for the center lock is only 3 pins.  It could most likely be raked open within seconds.

I can rake open most 5 pin low security locks within a minute.

You aren't thinking about this right. Think about the GYM lockers. Where people HAVE to leave their shit behind. Summary of things I've seen be put in lockers that I want:
Cellphones
Tablets
Laptops
Nintendo Ds
iPods
Wallets
Money

You didn't look at the picture (I couldn't figure out how to link it properly though so whatever) but the lockers in my school have the locks BUILT IN. the combos are chosen by the school. So your plan is bunk.

OP thinks its the fucking 80s and there are no worries, and everyone still "locks up" their valuables.

Considering cameras, constant and/or intermittent foot traffic, and the fact that anyone who isn't an idiot carries everything of value on their person....your only choice is to figure out who the major drug dealers are and pry the fucker open with a crowed bar. Expect to be caught on camera during schools and then jumped and stabbed after schools.

A decent flea market folding knife costs about tree fiddy, and I'd definitely stab the fuck out of the space between your ribs for about no fiddies if you tried to rob me.

Have fun earning no fiddy and being fucking stabbed and/or kicked in the fucking mouth.

murder/suicide

edit: ill kick you in the mouth if you need me to help you out, because I dont like having half a kilo of coke stolen from me by some dumb ass nigga
