A few quick thoughts off the top of my head....
1) Spam .....If you are SERIOUS about this rule, you'll increase the quality of this board significantly. But DO you have the fortitude to enforce it? Only time will tell
2) Child Porn....You probably need to spell out more clearly your definition of what constitutes child porn (or maybe just porn in general), because there are still a handful of prudish virgins/victims that actually believe some 14 year old tart in a bikini is in that realm.
"While alt accounts aren't expressly prohibited".....You absolutely NEED to change the verbiage of that rule, because its very vague and obscure. Part of the reason I never said anything about Unbreakable's army of alts, because that wording doesn't seem to take the whole thing very seriously at all.
"Images in signatures must be REASONABLY SIZED".....Do you really consider Bling's signature "reasonably sized"? Its your site and you can set whatever standards you like, but to me its loud, obnoxious and gawdy.....more appropriate for a Justin Beiber site, or something dedicated to Nickelodeon/Disney.
"Punishments will be handed out on a case by case basis mostly depending on the severity of the offending action or actions. For most small offenses though, a warning will usually be given first."..... Going back to Cats/Niglets issues with "alt account", if you are sincere about "case by case" basis, why such a heavy handed approach with him? He's not a troll, hasn't given you any grief at all, as a matter of fact is one of the few (if not only) posters NOT giving you shit about modding Zek. Its baffling that you imply having a sense of objectivity depending on each scenario, but in the other thread you are very staunchly stating..."rules are rules"...like an indignant school marm. Either change the verbiage in that rule, or take heed of your own words and actually practically apply it in the spirit you are implying.

You modded Zek after all, and if you consider his posting habits and behavior still after being modded as being a "rigorous standard"....you either need to get your eyes checked or increase your standards to something loftier than the underbelly of your common garden slug.
... I hate it when dagayru/specfag makes good points. Arnox you need to fix these issues so spec can go back to ranting about complete nonsense. No matter what you do, hes gonna rant. But when hes making some sort of sense, you know something isn't right. I will say that his first point, spam, doesn't really qualify. Spam is advertisements or literal gibberish. Nothing else. Stupid posts are not spam they are stupid posts, by definition. That is something I doubt spec will ever concede. So when he says take spam seriously what he means is moderate like a forum nazi until its only posts he likes. The rest of his points were pretty spot on.
2) It isn't "obvious" what child porn is. Its not even obvious by conventional laws in most places. Is a 12 year old girl spread eagle in a nudist resort CP? I think so. Legally it isn't in most places though, not if she isn't doing something sexual. Just make the rule this: a) No nude under 18 pics no matter what the context b) no under 18 sexually suggestive pics with partial clothing (bikinis etc.). There, definition problem solved. I mean, technically the latter isn't CP by any law, but really, who the fuck wants that shit on here except pedos.
3) Err... apparently daguru can only count to two. And yes, all rules should be written as if you were a lawyer, they need to be completely clear and not open to incredible amounts of interpretation.
4) Blings sig fucking sucks and I think everyone hates it. Hes just trying to be as obnoxious as possible clearly. And I know I can disable sigs, but its only his sig I want to disable so far.
5) Zek should never had been modded. Huge mistake. Really big mistake. What was the logic involved? Since girls always get modded, and hes the... ahem... the closest thing to one we got, he should be automatically modded? If you knew anything about his prior posting history, his mental illnesses, or fuck, his life in general, there is no way you would have modded him. Clearly, you are not vetting your mods properly. Zek is 1) mentally unstable and 2) almost certain to abuse any sort of power he has and 3) totally irresponsible. He abandoned his kids and spent what should have been their college fund on growing tits for himself. Does that sound like a responsible person to you? No. It doesn't, and that's just the tip of the iceberg with that one. Really bad call. Hes one of the last people who should have ever been modded.
And a note on alts, I think they should be allowed, depending on their purpose. I mean, ban evading shouldn't be allowed, but there were plenty of alts on totse/zoklet that lead to many lulz. Most of them were just gimmicks (rolf) and mediocre at best, but some of them were pretty good. I have always been against a blanket no alts rule.
