Some guy near a college area around here was walking around collecting emails and signatures to support government anti corruption. I did get emails about some events they were having but didn't bother showing up cause I moved a little too far away.

Maybe you could use this site to get the ball rolling, I'm dissapointed at how the country is going right now

How would setting someone's house on fire revolt against the government? That's someone's home. Be mad at the man, not your neighbor.

What is your true expectation of someone revolting against the government? How would you measure success of this? You say people do nothing, but what would doing something effective look like?

I dont really know but the cops crackdown when peoples houses go ablaze here which prompts lots of outlash. Overall im too stupid to lead a revolution but will help in one

Two conditions intersect:

1. Major problems abound
2. People actually realize that their votes don't count

Find the right people. It seems hard. Also, I had a old yuppie handbook on revolting but it's gone now...

Oh!If you have some creative colleagues, start and underground paper!Hand it out to people.Make your writing persuasive! If you can convince people to join, they'll tell others.
I think it's dead

Ha! In this day and age? The question isn't if it will be. It's if it WON'T.

OP: I would recommend reading up on the history of past revolutions. What drove people to revolt? What was the government doing? What had it done in the past? Who/what group led the revolution and what was he/she/they like? Living conditions for middle/lower class? etc. Now, the game has changed somewhat with the advent of the internet and recording devices EVERYWHERE now. This makes the communication of ideas much easier and at the same time infinitely more hard as it's incredibly easy to get drowned out in the noise of everyone elses voices.

HOWEVER, I believe that you should actually try to keep such a thing as secret as possible when it's first beginning. Gain your few key members, have them perhaps spread the word to other people they trust. Then slowly branch out from there. Keep everything as coordinated and neat as possible.

Time is always against you in some way or another.

Hate to burst your bubble but that revolution happened a long time ago. There has been an oligarchy running thus country since the mid 1800s. The banking elite of the world pulling string for a very long time.

if that were true, what was the point of the Butler conspiracy in the late 30s?

The answer is simple..

Become a cop, kill a black man in St. Louis.
