**UPDATE**

Dropped to 200lbs, my weight I'm supposed to seriously take my last puff as an appetite suppressant.

I've mainly kept to myself but I met up with a dude who wanted to smoke bud and play some games, and I was like okay coo I don't normally socialize but whatever, he bought cigs, redbox, and dunkin donuts, various addictions of their own.

I needed a celebratory QUITTING 200lb pack of cigs

16th pack

It appears I might have an addiction because I find myself REWARDING myself with cigs, and unlike other drugs I only need pocket change to keep up this addiction at 7-12 cigs a day.

Its so out there when you get gas or they just...ehhwhere

It appears 5 star addiction specialist will have to come at this with a new strategy, and not celebrate the victory with buying more cigs.

Go back through this thread again and read some of us reminiscing how years later we still have dreams about cigarettes and how it took like a decade to quit and coughing up grey shit and wheezing every morning...and think about how twenty years from now you will still be playing 'rationalization' games trying to modulate your 'habit'.......

I agree already on my 3rd and long last/taper pack, that it is nasty and HARSH if done on such a basis as some people.

I'm on the last 3 cigs of my 4th pack, and my experimentation is almost over.
These things appear to be highly addictive, and pleasurable, and you get 20 pleasurable experiences a day.

Uhh this is an experiment I don't need no advice this my last pack. Or at least my last pack before I stop going multiple cigs a day a buy a pack a month or quit or some shit. I aint no foo.

Now this was a great experiment, BUT....

I bought my 6th pack, which wasn't gonna happen

But I also might have got a job with some dough so it seems like if I was ever ACTUALLY addicted (yeah right  ) it'd be a great time to be addicted, cause I could switch to an eFagget eCig. But I'd still not take it in public.

7th Pack bought
But yeah a pack lasting me 2-3 days still but I think experiment still on track.

Possibility of addiction is real. eBagger has strong mind

8th Pack
Taking note of possible addiction and why I feel the need to puff on these things I've never cared for

About to purchase 11th pack.
More addicting than originally thought.

16th pack
It appears I might have an addiction

5 star eBagger quality thread delivers.

+1 on pipe smoking.  With the hundreds of blends which can differ hugely, that is like being a kid in a candy store.  Some blends even taste and smell like candy.

I have a Falcon stuffed with some Irish flake and damn I'm feeling good (the first full of pills might have helped).

I used to chain smoke cigarettes but sine I've picked up the pipe they don't even appeal to me unless I'm hammered, so it seems like my nicotine addiction has painlessly decreased.  I've been rotating Irish Flake, Nightcap, and Old Gowry which is great for mild whenever bowl.   I use an ecig as well to hold me off when it's more convenient.

I like cigars as well but its not something that appeals to me frequently.  I have a decent selection in a tupperdor and mostly have been reaching for the pipe instead

Another plus is that is much cheaper than cigarettes and cigars as long as you don't buy some large fancy pipe collection.  It is also more self limiting than cigarettes, some becoming a fiend should be less of a problem.

Agreed with Missouri Meerschaum, just got a Country Gentleman and it's great for the price.  Smokes better than some of my heirloom briars and I don't have to worry about breaking it.  A used Falcon pipe can go for less than $15 and the bowls are interchangeable and cheap.

If OP wants to enjoy the occasional smoke without becoming a addict I'd say get a Missouri Meerschaum and maybe aromatic like Peter Stokkebye (not into that myself) if he likes things like Camel Crush.   Peterson's Irish Flake is a a great sweet burley but the nicotine might leave someone without a tolerance on the ground.

no cigs left

20th (or 21st) pack smoked and completed

Could have bought like an eighth on what I spent on this shit, it was fun while it lasted though

Driving is going to be more boring  :-X

And knowing when to quit to eating is gonna suck  :-X

And what to do when I wake up and before I go to bed is gonna suck  :-X

But other than that, should be cake

I'll post if I cave and buy another, I ain't scared to say I fudged, but whatever, I'm not planning on it at the moment, but thus far in the experiment I've always had a cig waiting, or gone to smoke my last cig on my way to the new pack. Now I'm not understanding
