When I'm working, I lift far more than 25lbs several times a shift.  It's the norm, though it's being phased out with mechanical lifts.  And this is a job a disproportionate amount of women perform...

If you can't lift at least 75% of your own body weight, there is nothing 'productive' about the work you perform.

One part of my job would be made easier.  But everyone has strengths and weaknesses.  I bet I'm better able to empathize with the people I treat and better afford them solace than you would be.  That's hugely important.

I'm biased, but I still think I'm better at it than you are.  It's one of my most valued strengths, and I've seen plenty of cold (or worse... sometimes even abusive) volunteers and workers in my time.

You probably have a bigger capacity for empathy than I'm giving you credit for, but my point wasn't that I'm better than you.  Just that we're different, and that's not a bad thing.
