Feminazi Censorship
« on: October 01, 2014, 02:13:58 am »
I returned home from work this evening to find an email sent by my university informing me of a sexual assault which took place on my campus this past weekend. Fear not, my friends, yours truly is not a suspect to the crime. Rather, I was informed of the assault as part of the federally mandated Cleary Act.

However, one thing in particular about this email caught my eye and has subsequently caused me ire. At the end of the email was a list of, "protective measures you might consider to increase your personal safety and the safety of those around you".

The first "protective measure" on the list was stated as follows: "People who use sexually callous language are more likely to perpetrate sexual assault. The next time you hear yourself or someone else talking about women or sex in a derogatory way, stop. Speak up when you hear others talk this way— this includes all genders."

In other words, anyone who talks negatively about women should be suspected of being a rapist. Its like some horrendous feminist riff off Jeff Foxworthy's classic Redneck line: Don't like women? You might be a Rapist. Think women drive poorly? You might be a Rapist. Can't stand your wife's friends? You might be a Rapist.

This stupid feminist logic seems to think that if people (read: men) aren't allowed to criticize women, then sexual assault will magically disappear and that people should actively censor others (read: men) who express negative opinions about women.

Enjoy your testicles before they are forcibly removed by the coming Feminazi regime, men.

Callous is a big word.  It makes sense to me that someone spouting sexist nonsense would be more likely to rape a person.  Sexual assault on college campuses is really not a joke, or something to be taken lightly.

Universities are professional settings.  Discrimination of any sort does not belong there.  People should be able to feel safe at school.

During your free time, at parties or whatever?  Say whatever you want to.  But don't expect all the girls to want in your pants if you're being a misogynistic asshole.

Now, I'm not saying that people don't take advantage of other people and some seriously fucked up shit happens...  But, unless you are there witnessing it, no one really can tell the difference.  And, just because some stupid bitch got all fucked up and doesn't know what went down, doesn't mean she was raped.  Maybe she was just a drunken whore...  Maybe she when she sobered up she was so ashamed of being a drunken whore that she claimed some guy raped her.  I don't know. I try to stay away from drunken whores as a general strategy.

the same shit goes on at our school, I've taken the stance that if I cover my ass I'll be okay...

usually in the emails they say at least somewhat specifically what happened.

"in a 4th floor common room, a student made unsolicited advances on a female student"

"a suspicious person was seen in the south parking lot at 3 AM. student contacted police using the call box, police found suspicious person to be a student" (some girl saw some dude in the parking lot in the middle of the night, got scared and called campus police, they found out the dude was just a dude doing his thing)

usually shit like that about twice a week. there was ONE legit rape last semester in the whole town...I do agree the language always back-handedly implies men are the bad guys, and at the same time women have lost the accountability for their actions at parties and such.

I could get mad about it, but I'd just get framed as an asshole. I'll just keep dating one girl and not fuck around...pretty much this

what also is backasswards is the punishment for falsely accusing rape is nowhere near the punishment of rape. some people treat it like its a fucking game.
Ill give you a hands-free prostate exam with the same instrument I use as a tongue depressor

Why would the punishment for making a false accusation be equivalent to physical, sexual rape?

Also.  I see how Moaning Lisa's name and stars are Blue.  Arnox's are Red.  I want mine to be Black.  I don't care about being a mod or any BS. But, I want my name and stars to be Black.  Whose dick do I have to suck for this to happen?

What does everyone think of California's new "yes means yes" law?

Wear a condom, video tape her taking a breathlyzer and blood (drug) test, get her to sign a contract stating the terms and conditions of the interaction. Videotape her after the exchange to confirm shegave consent at all times.   Otherwise your life will be fucked.

Even so, the human penis is a weapon, so you may still be charged with statutory assault if you penetrated her.

Like 20 seconds of searching turned up research that suggests a callous attitude towards sex (as represented by similar language) does actually have a causal relationship with lack of empathy towards rape victims. It doesn't seem like a stretch to say lack of empathy is a factor in actual rapes. I'm not sure a university's communications arm is really equipped to determine, let alone advise students on, whether or not "callous language" (presumable not defined in OPs email?) is a meaningful predictor of potential for becoming a rapist. But to say there is no relationship, or that criticizing people with these attitudes somehow constitutes censorship, looks to be nothing more than manufactured outrage.
