Very well said, although I wouldn't put it squarely on the plates of leftists completely. Much of corporate America has adopted these ideologies despite not having any political push no matter which way they lean. Somewhere down the line we've completely lost our way because "freedom of speech" no longer exists when employers can fire your ass for something you tweet or post on Facebook. Along the same lines.."pursuit of happiness"...has now been twisted into "you MUST tolerate anything/everything" or face public ridicule because people dare adhere to values or morals<<<<<< Ironically enough those are now "dirty words" for much of this politically correct society.

While I agree with everything you've said above, I also think a lot of it has to do with the way people can and do make money by exploiting the homosexual lifestyle and shoving it down our throats. A great example of that is the popular TV show "Survivor" where in EVERY single season at least one cast member is gay, and oftentimes a flamboyant flaming queer.

Now is there an "agenda" behind all of that, or do the producers realize witnessing such a farce and spectacle make for good ratings? Meanwhile millions of families sit down together every week and lots of kids are indoctrinated that such things are "normal".....unless you are in my household where we just laugh at and pick apart the hypocrisy of a lot of these people.

Granted, I don't spend much of my thought process aware of who is left/right or conservative/liberal....so perhaps all of their executive producers and network CEO's ARE in fact leftists , but perhaps  a lot of times there isn't any pre-planned endgame in all of this....instead just chasing the almighty dollar with the resulting effects being our morality and sets of standards being flushed right down the toilet in the process.

Yeah, there is a major 'racketeering' type aspect to these sorts of things.  An example is the donald sterling 'racism' 'fiasco'.  If one paid close attention to the events that occurred afterwards, huge amounts of money were passed around.  I am not going to go dig up the details right now, but I posted at zoklet about it.

The Sterling situation is a great example of what I said earlier about freedom of speech being long dead. His comments couldn't be any more vague if he tried, and the fact you can't even have a personal conversation over your breakfast without people trying to ruin you just proves how the concept of "tolerate EVERYTHING or else" mindset has permeated our society. Big Brother IS watching, and while we may not literally be dragged off to the gulags, its sickening how nobody can have any individual thoughts or belief system any more.
