I'm all for free speech, but only if I perceive that it has value.

I fucking fixed that shit for you.

I can draw the line between what I do not like but has value, and what does not have value.

a thread I do not like but has value http://www.intosanctuary.com/index.php?topic=2380

a thread I do not like with (at least the first 2 posts) no value. http://www.intosanctuary.com/index.php?topic=2227.0
Ill give you a hands-free prostate exam with the same instrument I use as a tongue depressor

That second thread is in HB though.  Anything goes there.

You never heard of the saying 'one man's trash is another man's treasure' have you?

So pretty much this board will turn into 'post anything you like, as long as someone with the username 'moaning lisa' thinks it is worthwhile!'

I wish I had a .gif of a tumbleweed handy, because this place will be deader than fuck in a month if you have your way.

Yeah this. When they tried to make "trolling" a bannable offense on zoklet, it was a mod slaughter fest. Anyone who did something a mod didn't like was trolling and they were banned. This drama shit is going to be much of the same. Maybe the staff here is better, I don't know, but I do know that this drama rule can easily be abused as drama can't actually be defined, just like trolling. Its just an umbrella term that can be used to manipulate any situation. First posts might just be moved, but after that gets tiresome (16 hours from now), repeat offenders might just banned. In essence, this rule could be used to ban anyone who posts something a mod doesn't like.

I've seen it once before on zoklet, and I see it now in sanctuary. Once one gets a taste for its own kind, it can spread through the pack like a wildfire. Mindlessly chomping and biting at their own hinds. Nothing but the taste of flesh on their minds. You know the thing about a mod? It's got lifeless eyes. Black eyes like a doll's eyes. Don't seem to be living at all when it come at ya. Till it bans ya. And then the eyes roll over white. You don't hear nothing but the screaming and the hollering...

Yeah, just disengage from the discussion.  I guess by doing so, you are saying 'what I say goes', and we can soon expect that our posts must live up to your standards, or else.

It is kind of a sad predicament we've placed ourselves in.  We want freedom to express ourselves as we want, but we also want quality content that makes this site worthwhile.  These two desires shouldn't be mutually exclusive, but unfortunately we're hopelessly apathetic and awful.

I don't know what I'd do to try to fix it.  Guess the only thing to do is try to be decent posters and hope it encourages others to follow suit.

Your first mistake is giving entirely too much importance to anything on the Internet, much less this site

I put a lot of time and energy into my thread titles and I won't stand for some dragon loving mormon replacing them with the blanket term of "Global Site Drama Thread"

inb4HAHAHAHA this was all just a troll to create drama and have it coagulated in the same place because I'm a weird control freak who doesn't even like dragons

Says the guy who has 27.16417910447761 times more posts on this website then I do.

Also, typically a 'first mistake' insult is followed up by a 'second mistake' insult. You know. Due to numbers and grammar and such. Just an FYI.
