How long to hold cannabinoid smoke?

Some people say that at least with THC it all gets absorbed within 1-2 seconds, and holding it for any longer can just damage your lungs.

does this also apply with spice smoke? how long all the designer drugs take to get abosrbed. i usually hold in my hit for 10+ seconds and usually try to breathe out nothing at all.

i don't know what the combustion point of these chems are, but are thhey easier to combust than the actual plant matter that holds them? is 95% of the UXR-146 2 seconds and then the bay leaf the other 10 seconds?

are there any other ROAS that dont involve extensive anything? eating  it never does anything

I usually try to hold it for 5-10 seconds, I'll try right now though and see how many hits it takes to feel it since I'm sober

Next time I smoke a dab, I'll try one quick hit and see how high I get.  Using the same batch next time I'll take a hit and hold it for a while and see if it makes a difference.  Its the THC absorption were concerned with if I'm not mistaken, which is what dabs are primarily supposed to be.

Yo id be interested in how you made your oils. Do you ever use all trim or do you usually do mostly nugs? I have some bubble bags but the ice water extract came out mediocre last year cause the bags had some holes in em from a dumb fuck friend who borrowed them using a razor to scrape the bottom

Primarily nugs, although its been a while since I've smoked any, let alone made some.  We made BHO to my knowledge( although my info on THC extraction is little to none) by grinding up about 5g of nugs and stuffing them into a "blasting tube", then filling a pyrex evaporating dish with water and shooting the butane through the buds in the tube(we used 5 filters on the end) and into the water.  Then we proceeded to use a little hair pin or something to "scoop" around in the water and retrieve the dab oil, wiping the oil on another small glass dish.

Thats a super rough outline of how we did it and about all I know since I never looked into the chemistry and science behind it.  I will ask my bud who is more knowledgeable of the subject and PM you later

You can buy different sized "blasting tubes"(I've seen some big ones that can hold 50g's+), but we found we got optimal yield from smaller ones, less mechanical loss if you ask me.  We did have to do a lot more blasts though, which took a good bit of time.  I think we averaged around 0.9-1.1g per blast of 5.0g

I don't know why you'd want to steal the components, they're easy to find and pretty cheap.  A blasting tube at your local head shop is probably 20-30$, a pyrex pie dish is like 7$, coffee filters 2$, and a can of butane should be around 8-10$.  Make sure to buy the highest quality butane you can find, vector brand minimum.
