You couldn't just write yourself a note?  You had to make a thread?

I am not even sure there is a way to fully quantify 'societal bads', is there?

Pfft, we'd have to define "societal bads" first and c'mon - do we really want to waste our time?

This is a thread Unstable Matter made on methylphenidate withdrawal. Everyone, me included, should be shot for even posting in it.

Not really, if it's in relation to total factor production the societal "bads" are only relevant if they impact your output. Air traffic controllers have the highest rate of drug addiction, get mad vacation time, massages etc. etc. etc. because their job is "high stress." If you hire cambodian refugees who are used to high stress, they'll do a shittier job but won't need the benefits. They could live in the airport and wouldn't need accommodation beyond that.

If you're running a heroin processing facility and your workers keep nodding off on the job and getting addicted that's a problem that's impacting your earnings. If you hire people from the hood who are gonna steal but you pay them less that's a problem.

Socialism doesn't give a fuck about any of these things. I don't think you know what speaking of

You are right about this, but conversely, there is no room in socialism for such things as individual merit,

fuck it, never mind, I cannot even finish a thought, my ex is watching some fuckjing nigger show on the tv next to my computer, and they are bickering and being fucking niggers, and I am about to fucking lose my temper and throw something through the screen.

Lol, try going to jail where you have one TV that blares nothing but BET and MTV all day. You hear the same few songs over and over so much (not on MTV though, there is 0% chance of even hearing a snippet of a song) it will make you rethink the choices you've made in life. You actually look forward to fridays when they play the new videos.

The best part was at 5pm when "excused" with Iliza Jewslinger would come on and there'd be some decent lookin wominz but eventually you grow to hate everything about TV. I watched 20 minutes of it the other day and got angry at every channel I cycled through

Last time I was in jail everyone loved watching 'sons of anarchy'.  Fucking shit makes me sick.  That or nigger shows.  I will watch some Cops, though, that shit never gets old.

I was just going to type that, as many 'bads' as GMI and socialism in general may 'ease', there are just as many drawbacks to the whole thing that would mitigate any jesus fucking christ I really cannot think right now, I may come back to this thread after I burn my house down and kill everyone, then myself.

Most people hate watching cop shows in jail but I got into a heated argument over whether one could learn anything from watching "the first 48."

Strangely, the two most popular shows in CDN prison are Big Brother (far and away the most popular, it seems inexplicable at first but the more you think about it the more it makes perfect sense) and Jersey Shore.

Up da penzo you get HBO so I'd watch "angry boys" than get paroled, come here and see other angry australian "boys" like chi chi, enter, FON and tokerface post a bunch of autistic shit and have a point of relativity
