People must be pushed away, not allowed to feel too friendly, when you are currently incapable of reciprocating. I must say that even before seeing you mention me, you seemed to be in the realm of the kindred.
The medication is going fine, no significant side effects so far. I am administering my tranylcypromine, currently 15mg twice per day, rectally to avoid interaction with MAO in the gut, bypassing the normal risk of hypertensive crisis due to tyramine, which was horribly overblown to begin with, and began NSI-189 yesterday, 20mg twice per day, with tests suggesting that the amount of neurogenesis is correlated with physical activity, administration before the most active periods being optimal.
Mood and cognition are definitely improved, but it hasn't been enough time, they haven't really "kicked in" yet . I'm excited to see where this will lead, the experiences people have had with proper (higher than standard) dosage are often quite incredible, there's really no question of whether it's working or not, unlike with most ineffective commonly used antidepressants. It's unlikely that tranylcypromine won't work at a high enough dose.
