Also, people are still blaming al-qaeda (sp?) for 9/11? I thought everyone had realized it was a false flag by now
They've wanted Bash gone for a long time and after they trained and funded ISIS, gave them their left over weapons and they started encroaching on kurd land and were beefing with rebel groups more than with Assad they realized they needed to step in so it doesn't become a quadmire without the objective of toppling Assad being met.
Now people pretend beheading journalists is a new thing so now there's the pretext to go back into the middle east in the name of toppling Assad, continuing to stamp on sykes picot (which is a good thing) and installing a hardline sharia sunni puppet government that's pro US interests. ISIS may be different in name (on its third or fourth already) but the ideology will always be there and it'll continue to be a useful tool
