i see the roller bladers sometimes and they look so cool! it's def not popular here in texas, but i remember it kind of being big when during elementary school in jersey. i don't roller blade, but it's always awesome seeing them. i feel like they're the neat out of date sport rebels swaying on the sidewalks.

you guys do any similar hobbies?

Trampolines. No one ever looks at anyone on a trampoline over the age of 20 and says "Wow! That guy is cool!"

OP.....while not nearly the cardio exercise of roller blading, if you are looking for a fun and challenging new sport to pick up, why don't you try Disc Golf? It can give you a bit of a workout depending on the course and how rugged the terrain is,  and is very inexpensive as most courses are free to play with an initial startup cost of about $20-$30 to buy a set of discs. If you like the outdoors you'll enjoy the varying courses, and if you are a stoner a lot of people like to toke in the middle of a round because oftentimes you are in the woods off the beaten path away from everyone else.

Its also a sport that isn't really gender dominant, meaning as a female as you work on your game you can be just as good as any guy once you get your technique, form and shot selection down. Its something you can play very casually or very competitively....its pretty much whatever you want to make it.

Here's a link to find the nearest disc golf course near you, just enter a zip code and they'll give you a good idea what is around your area...

I wouldn't exactly call it an "unpopular" sport as its been growing quite a bit in the last several years with courses popping up all over the place....but still not that many mainstream people are actively playing it or talking about it much.

Yeah, sorry that your crippled ass finds any sport with a throwing motion to be way too overwhelming for you....but most of the rest of the world isn't reduced to living most of their lives in constant physical agony with little to no activity at all.

that is so darn true. you never see adults buying themselves trampolines.

actually, not really. well maybe about disc golf, but ultimate frisbee is hella intense. i have a friend that does ult fris a lot so one day he took me out frisbee-ing and it was actually a good work out. can be intense if you chuck it each other fast and constantly. (but i sUCK with frisbees.) my guess is disc golf could be intense if you tried to go super fast, although i might have to pass on that daguru, i think i'd get bored easily lol.

myers, he must be pretty big!

I have invented Ping-Kata Pong-Fu.

I juggle a ping pong ball with two paddles while doing Kung Fu stances and spin around with kicks and combos.

It's really exhausting and all you need is a ball, two paddles and the ability to transform to water.

Be water my friend.
who's the judge of if its funny and or clever? the mods. period.

Oh, I longboard and I hate most longboarders exactly because of that attitude. Buying the most expensive shit they can find to "just commute". Longboarding is hella nice, but it's being ruined by college dudebro assholes. It often makes me not want to ride anymore..
