Agreed, and considering the staff's staunch opposition against such nonsense...I'm surprised its gotten as much action as it has. Of course if people are going to continue talking shit and taking barbs at me, I sure as hell ain't gonna just sit here mute.
No specific model, just the definition of the term "sports car". He argued that it's a general term encompassing any car that "looks good, goes fast", whilst I tried to explain the term implies a specific kind of car in both design and purpose. Really pretty frivolous, I was just trying to be informative but somebody took offense. I won't bring it up here again.
That is Rodent's M.O., it has been for years and its crazy and amusing to watch him come up with his own self-made definitions of words to suit his own purposes/not be made look like an utter fool while losing an argument. The entire reason DFG finally perma-banned me from Totseans.info was because Rodent tried coming up with his own demented defintion of "step-father". He absolutely insisted there had to be significant age difference as well as "time spent" living under the same roof with said person....and when I posted multiple sources from legitimate dictionaries refuting his idiocy he went apeshit, and within a couple of hours I was never allowed back on their website ever again
I have nothing against either of you two respectively, but I've seen you both lose your temper time and time again and it's always wound up causing trouble for everyone involved, rather than solving any perceived problems. Unless you increase your self awareness, you may be doomed to repeat those mistakes. That's all.
Your perception is very skewed and couldn't be more off-base....just following the lead of people saying "DaGuru is a trouble maker", and not reading the posts objectively. How the hell does someone "lose their temper", just putting up text and questioning people? And what you consider "causing problems"...was me refusing to be brushed off or handed a load of bullshit the rest of the world knew to be untrue. To you I should have just taken the answer of..."because we can"...and taken the abuse of a bully, rather than defend myself or try to resolve anything.
And again I ask...why would I be "doomed to repeat those mistakes"....when I have ZERO problems with the staff here, as they are not littered with power-hungry cowardly dolts with self-serving agendas?
