so no one can provide any info as to where one could obtain at least a bb gun?

Walmart has a fine selection of BB guns and air rifles.  How does anyone not know this?  I'm sure if you save up your allowance for a few months you can sneak out of your grade school during recess and go buy one.

Prepaid credit cards can only be bought with cash or a debit card.  If you have their debit card and PIN number you might as well go directly to the ATM and withdraw money there.

I like the idea but It might be harder to fool a brain surgeon such as myself with an EKG attached to you.

EKGs measure electrical activity in the heart, not the brain.  You might want to review your surgery textbooks on basic brain anatomy before you operate again.

Mopeds are like fat girls.  They're a lot of fun to ride until a friend catches you on one.

Were you trying to purchase it with a debit card or with cash?  I think they just want to check to make sure the debit card isn't stolen.  Next time go to an ATM, withdraw cash and use the cash to buy the gift card.

Money Money Money... / Re: making bank in college
« on: October 24, 2014, 02:14:28 am »
That's a good plan.  You're right that you should go for cheap ingredients over quality when selling to college kids.  Most students won't know the difference, and the ones that do will be too drunk to care after the second shot.  I recommend you be really careful with this operation, though.  Eventually some drunk student is going to get picked up by campus police and run his mouth, probably saying something like "What are you messhing with me for, ossifer?  I only had two beersh.  The guy in room 604 is running a fugging bar out of his dorm room, selling drinks to half the campus.  Arrest him."

If you get caught, you need to make it look like you were just sharing drinks with a few friends.  That means you don't keep a big supply of cups in your dorm, you don't keep more than two bottles in your dorm, and for sure you don't keep a big stack of money in your dorm.  Those things just scream "intent to sell" and that's real bad, as in possible jail time bad.  You also might want to set up a little shop selling ramen and candy just as a front to explain the constant flow of traffic into your room.  It doesn't have to make money just as long as it gives you a cover story.  And don't steal the cups.  You've got a good thing going here, and there's no need to take the risk of ruining it by getting caught at petty theft.

Why run the risk of stealing someone's phone when you can get a prepaid flip phone for about $20?  Make sure you get one that takes SIM cards so you can get a new phone number every day if you want to.

As Bling pointed out, Farmer John has a shotgun.  Farmer John also used an old Viet Cong trick and booby-trapped his patch with bullets in pipes just barely sticking up out of the ground and the primer of the bullets resting on nail points.    Farmer John also raises hogs, so there's no need to go to the trouble of burying bodies, not when there's hungry piggies to feed.

Can someone post a link to waht one of these looks like on US Ebay as I cannot find them on the UK one

Sorry one of those pre paid cards

I'm going to do a rethink here.  Since you apparently cannot figure out what a Visa gift card looks like on your own, you have no business whatsoever engaging in anything remotely criminal.  Instead, my advice to you is that you pursue a safe, legal career, something that matches your intellectual level, something like sorting laundry.

Gold or silver would work just as well.  If you wanted to sell the gold you'd either have to put up with the hassle of finding a buyer or take a loss selling it at a "We Buy Gold" type of shop, but either way it would work.

Can you link to a good ebay seller for these?

Sorry, I only dealt in gift cards, not gold.  You'll have to do the usual eBay thing and look at feedback ratings.

The website appears to be legit; USAToday posted a link to it.  I got something like $15 on a similar class-action suit about ten years ago.  Some music companies had to pay the settlement because they got caught conspiring to raise prices when they started putting music on CDs, or something like that.

No, it's very simple.  You go on eBay and buy a gift card with your Paypal money for $275.  The seller then mails you a gift card worth $200.  You go and spend the gift card on video games or whatever you 15 year old kids spend money on these days.  What part of that process is confusing to you?  Now you are paying $275 in Paypal money to get $200 in spending money, but you aren't in a situation where you want to link your checking account to the Paypal account and withdraw the entire balance, are you?

If you try to rip off the seller by fraudulently claiming your gift card never arrived or arrived empty, you're just going to draw attention to the fact that the credit card you used through Paypal was stolen to begin with.  Don't do it.  Besides, I kept copies of the gift card receipts and shipping information to prove I did in fact send a good card, and I never lost a dispute.
