For me personally an all year round drink for me is Newcastle brown ale, I can drink that in the heat of summer to get wasted or to company nice food. I'm also a big Leffe Blonde drinker which is from Belgium (best lager makers in the world) it has a incredible full body taste.
In winter I love Jack Daniels either neat or with a drop of coke, to me the 25th of December is just another day without a bottle of JD.
If I'm on holiday by the beach and do not have access to my beloved booze I'd be sipping daqueries all day until I'm a drunken mess.
So, what's your favourite booze?

Belgians aren't big on lagers. Stella is the most widely circulated Belgian lager. Leffe makes some good blonde and brown ales though. Also try Gouden Carolus, Chimay, St Bernardus, Trappiste Rochefort, tripel Karmeliet, Kasteel's offerings, and any others you can find.
Anymore I drink whatever. I prefer craft beer, good aged rum or bourbon. I tend to drink whatever I can afford. Lately it's been Evan Williams white label (100 proof bottled in bond) and PBR for cheap beer. I love craft beer but it's expensive and if I'm going to get drunk I don't really care about the taste.

A strong yet smooth White Russian.. nothing else will suffice.
But when not readily available, Wild Turkey Honey and JD Devils cut will get me where I need to be.. an generally, it's a faster trip.

Glenfiddich 12Yr or "The Glenlivet" 12Yr.
not a beer man so when im drinking something cheaper then scotch I drink Seagrams VO, Specter knows how that shit works out haha.
Edit: here is the "Official" tasting results for VO.......I dare you to try it.
Nose: Closed at first, then slowly opening into mild rye notes with a hint of spirit. Fresh farmyard smells, earthiness, cigarette ashes, suggestions of dry grain, and a vaguely floral essence give it an organic feel. Then a slight sweetness and ripe fruitiness develop into hints of cream sherry, followed by more mild floral notes. Soon some woody notes arrive, not obvious, but noticeable, with cedar and newly-cut lumber. This is not an overly expressive whisky. Yes, V.O. certainly has plenty of aromas – wood, sweet rye spices, dry grass, and vague notes of pickles, but although they are varied they could never be described as prominent.
Palate: Starts hot with pepper and alcohol. An appealing bitterness lingers under the full gamut of classic rye notes, including earthiness, freshwater plants, hints of pickles, a flash of flowers, and lots of baking spices – cardamom, nutmeg, ginger, and then some ginger ale. But there is a contradiction in that it is alternately dry at moments, then sweet and creamy. The slight caramel-like sweetness never cloys, but nicely frames shades of bourbon-like vanilla pod. The hot pepper develops into a real burn. Although it has the spirity notes of a classic mixing whisky, the body has a pleasing weight. And though there are ripe fruits, it never becomes overly fruity. If it sounds like there is a lot going on here, there really isn’t. There are lots of flavour suggestions, but it’s really not very complex. The zestiness feels good – almost tannic in its astringency and there is a rewarding underlying woodiness. Vague hints of apple juice are the first really well-defined flavour and are followed by some sweet citric notes. Pleasing.
Finish: Medium to short. Peppery with some heat, and sweet with a citric bitter zest that fades fairly quickly to nothingness.
Empty Glass: Barkeep’s Sunday morning, tidying up after Saturday night at the local bar. Very faint hints of beer, a slight sourness, and cigarette ashes then grain, mild caramel, a bit of wood, dry grass, hints of vanilla, and a slight dustiness.

While I'd agree with Stella being the most popular in bars and is widely more common and much cheaper than Leffe, you still can buy it as a premium bottle.
I also like some craft beers, recently had a taste for some ipa's, but more than likely could not sit there all night slamming them.

Leffe isn't lager, that was my point I guess.

shiner/shiner black
jameson/jagermeister
I do really like jack daniels though. But whenever I drink whiskey I always get beat up or arrested

Anything but franzia or other super sweet wines, that's the only thing that bothers me is when it is too sweet.
-
oh so you do like garbage wines then.. I thought so.

No I'm just not a wine snob. The cost and the label don't make a wine good. Quality wine can be had for <$10 a bottle.
-
yes I am aware.. so can bad wine.. yet you acted like a wine snob so that's why I called you out

I don't get what you called me out on, I said that I like drinking wine. You're just a prick.

Bloody Marys are delicious, but even better is a spicy red beer. Always buy quality ingredients, from the tomato juice to the beer!
yum yum :)
-
hey buddy, do i need to take my belt off?

:???:
lol i meant that for rusty.. haha
I like to mix a lonestar with v8 and add some ground black pepper and worstechier maybe with a lil tabasco
-
Hmm. Don't think I've ever heard of Lonestar. Is it mass-produced stuff? For some reason a lot of people like red beer made with the crappiest beer there is. Like bud light, coors light, etc. Stuff made with corn syrup. Any decent ale is the way to go imo. Fat Tire works wonderfully.
But I'm a tiny bit of a beer snob.

Looked around. They use corn syrup to make it.
Sorry to have to tell you this, but your national state beer (lolwut) sucks :(

yeast turns sugar into alcohol. there isn't corn syrup in the finished product.
the best combination for red beer is 1/4 glass V8 hot and spicy and fill to the top with steel reserve. stir. add a bit of louisiana hot sauce. pwnage.

I'm a fan of dark beers. I like Porters and Stouts with notes of smoke, chocolate, cream, and coffee. Scotch ales are good too. Occasionally I drink IPA's when I'm in the mood for something hoppy. The state and city that I live in has a great beer scene and I only drink local craft beer.
When it comes to hard liquor I like rye whiskey with ginger ale/sprite/7 up.
My go to red wine is Zinfandel with notes of black pepper, raspberries, dark cherries.
-
I don't drink much, but I tend to favor Shiner when I do.
-
gin. no fucking quinine for me. tanqueray all day until cheapo no moneyo then I just buy gordon's
-
I over done the brown ale last night. Got a killer hangover. Mixing drinks fucks with me the next day, long gone are the days of drinking everything and anything.
-
Today. Havana Club.
-
Mixed drink: White Russian. Apparently these were considered girly drinks before The Big Lebowski. One more reason to appreciate The Dude.
Hard liquor: Kilo Kai spiced rum. Sipping on some right now actually. Good gawd it is delicious.
Fermented: generally fond of hard ciders, still convinced that I can do better than Woodchuck, which is my current favorite.
Beer: Royal Oak Red. It's an amazing red beer that is sadly only available from The Royal Oak Brewery in Royal Oak, Michigan. Bring a growler. A big one.
Mainstream Beer: Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. The sour finish really works for it, and I don't even like sour in general.

the real Cuban Havana Club or the fake shit?

You're right... Belgian lagers are ok to good but definately not great. Stella being about the shittiest of all. Try jupiler if you can find it. It's the most popular here. For really good lager, go danish ('probably the best beer in the world' or so they say themselves) or Czech (urquell). If you drink Bud or Heineken... buy me a plane ticket so i can come whoop ur ass
Leffe is the commercial 'special beer' brand... but still a very nice beer.
Rochefort is a very tasty beer. As is Orval if you're into monk beer.
Duvel is another beer any beer enthousiast should try.
My personal favourite drinks:
single malt scotch and a very few blends (J&B and Famous Grouse)for taste
White porto for binging
white martini

Duvel is great. Orval is interesting because they make two versions of the beer, one for export and the other not for export. The exported version has slightly higher abv. I've tried both. They were very good and the difference was slight. Tasty tasty beer. Hercule stout from Belgium is also delicious.

Is anyone else a fan of mexican beers? Specifically Modelo and Tecate taste great, and are pretty reasonably priced too. Shitty IPAs with too much hops and other artificially flavored "craft brews" are the cancer that is killing beer.
-
Never tried either of those, I'll have to throw one into my next sample pack.
-

You also can't drink premium top shelf $10 a six pack beers all day either. A lot beer snobs don't get that someone who drinks all day everyday doesn't have that luxury usually. For me I stick to Budweiser usually.

Champagne + orange juice + vodka = manmossa
Also liquid marijuana

Hate to admit it but in summer i enjoy a corona or two with a slice of lime :picard:
Corona being the only mexican beer available here... And it's far from cheap either.

Hey arnox, whats your favorite alcoholic bev.....oh wait never mind

Sol, modelo especial, victoria, pacifico, tecate and even carta blanca are better than corona. Mexican beers with a slice of Mexican lime are perfect for when I grill chicken or steak. I prefer quart or liter size bottles.

Vodka....it is just so versatile. You can mix it with damn near anything that is available even just ice. And now they have more flavors than you can even keep track of including chili pepper, bet that makes a hell of a bloody mary, and bacon that although sounds completely disgusting must make an awesome pair with crown maple.
-
Snatch juice ftw 100%

I like whiskey and jagermeister and shiner black
