What exactly would happen if you were to take a handful of waterproof firecrackers or some other explosive and flush them after lighting? Would it be enough to bust a pipe or fuck up the toilet in some way? This is for you troublemakers at school out there

Smaller explosives, like M80's, when contained in a pipe can exert a ridiculous amount of force. It is easily enough to burst pipes - especially in newer buildings that use ABS for sewer drains. This can really fuck up the building's sewer lines, depending on how they're set up. If a bank of toilets is all manifolded together, you'll blow a hell of a lot of water out of every one of them, usually on both sides of a wall.
Easy to get caught though. Best time to do it is when there's a lot of people taking a shit. But also easiest time to get picked out of the crowd as the person responsible. Not worth the jail time for some cheap LOLs.

Works better with the artillery shells you get in the big fireworks, those also come with green waterproof fuses. They will crack pipes, yes. I saw it happen once in 2nd grade. Boys restroom in the cafeteria was locked for the rest of the school year.

If you're trying to say that's not true then you just come off like an asshole. I don't know about the shitty school you went to but it obviously couldn't afford paper towels, much less cameras. I've already been brought into the office before to see myself on video when being questioned. Since our school isn't full of section 8 tenets they actually give a shit and if you think they're not going to go that far when you set off a bomb in their school then you're among the dumbest of the dumb.

Hmm.. the only things I can comment is..... extended fuses? At least so you could walk out, be down the hall and maybe the other people already having walked out before it goes off.. but then it would maybe be too far down the drainage system to make any impact.. so idk..

if the pipes are cast in the foundation, you will get one hell of a blast out of all the toilets in the bathroom...if the pipes aren't, it will probably just break the pipe.
also, you would need one large firecracker, like an M80 or a quarterstick...a bunch of small ones wouldn't work.
fair warning, they would probably be able to get you for detonating an explosive device on school grounds...improvised, if you made the M80...I hear federal is lovely this time of year.

Depends on where they are when they splode. If theyre in a large-diameter metal pipe that is reinforced externally the expanding gasses will exit through the venting and possibly shoot the small amount of water in the nearest p-traps
If its in a small-diameter thin-walled pipe that doesnt have anything supporting it and is under water, the pipe will shatter. The water will amplify the force and the bummer with pvc pipe is it fragments.

Funny, how growing up as a kid this was a common scene from various movies, television shows, and cartoons.. While it has always been an act of vandalism, in the modern day.. its an act of terrorism that a kid and its parents would probably be branded with for a substantial amount of time. I lived in a rural small town.. one of those real small town homey looking places, and all of our schools had 1-2 cameras to a hall, and multiples in high density places.. However, most of them were fake or not in use.. They loved to tell you they had you on tape before asking you to explain (usually a fight) hoping you would tell the truth because they would find out anyways.. Except when someone persisted in lying anyways, and then they gave both in-school because it was so inconclusive.. the hilarity was that it was in the cafeteria immediately after lunch (when everyone cleared out so lack of witnesses).. and that place had, I know at least 8 seemingly camera installations.. so who knows.. Sometimes it may just be a ploy.

It doesn't matter if it's ghetto or not, every school you go into nowadays will most certainly have cameras, with maybe the exception of private schools. The reasons why they have them are obvious

I went to two american public schools, one which was pretty preppy and one that was like "last chance" or whatever and neither had cameras (although one had this hilarious little asian security guard everyone used to give shit). It was pre sandy-hook but way post columbine. Maybe it was just a quirk of the district I was in.

You just described literally half my family. One aunt, two uncles, and my father were all expelled from catholic school, all for different reasons. Theft, vandalism, drug dealing/manufacture, and arson. Although they never did prove my uncle set the principal's car on fire.
