Having ptsd sucks as it stimulates all kinds of things in the mind which takes resources away such as sleep and digestion and you get the runs and gas bad.
Through meditation one can rise above and clear the mind but it takes a lot of energy and devotion along with self control
I do lack in practise however if you build an inner sanctuary, a place you can retreat to and feel safe I believe it is a start.
Through meditation and shamanism practices with plants I believe we can learn a lot and grow
