one thing that fucking sucks about games these days
« on: September 03, 2014, 03:17:15 am »
Fucking updates. I left my ps3 on all day downloading tekken revolution and i get home just as it finishes, then i have to download 2 more gigs of fucking updates. Tried to sign out of psn and play, wouldn't let me.

Man this sucks. I just wanted to play tekken.  Not to mention bringing home a new game, popping it in and.... updating it. How fun.

1. Turn off your PS3's connection.
2. Play game.

The games are fine. Would much rather shit that's broken get fixed instead of the old days where once the cartridge/disc was done, that's it.

Must be connected to psn to play tekken revolution even if you just wanna play arcade mode.

joe, i feel the same way.  i still prefer cartridge games .  but anything without online is usually better.  the days of good quality control is over now.  back then if you wanted your game to be great you had to fix every bug before release.

of course bugs still did get through even the best games.
