Basic detonator part 2, the igniter.
« on: May 23, 2014, 01:09:53 am »
we need a few things for this.

steel wool.
electrical tape.
matches.
some wire.

Strip the tips of the wires so some metal is exposed and tape them up like this so that they are 180 degrees apart.

Wrap a single strand of steel wool around the head of the match and around the wires.   with some more tape secure the ends of the steel wool so that it remains attached.

You just made your electrical igniter,   stick it inside a firework or use a blackpowder booster to ignite "Larger" things.

Simple. I like it! How would you go about making this a longer range? Just use longer wires?
Respect existence or expect resistance.

yes,   make a few igniters and just twist tie the connections together.
