i dunno sometimes i'll reply nonsensical texts to them, no matter how much they try to maintain a line of normality in the conversation. i've also just left the area they've been at (like at a concert or a bar) for a fairly long while doing my own thing and coming back to questions "where have you been!?" usually i just say the toilet, shrug, and smile. actually now that i think of it, i do both of these things a lot.

I try to avoid any sort of passive aggressive behaviors. I see it as a form of emotional manipulation, which for any relationship, is extremely unhealthy.

It sounds like your problem is seeing one another too much. At least, too much for your tastes in particular. If you are in a relationship with someone, it's understandable that you're going to spend more time with them as opposed to anyone else. However, people don't seem to realize that you don't need to constantly text one another. You don't need to be on the phone with one another, or spend all your free time with them.

You need to have just as much fun with them as you do without them.

i wish that was the case proots. i've been single for a long while again (no complaints) and even when i did date someone he always questioned why i didn't really hang out with him much haha. i thought of this thread b/c some dude texted me yesterday and i just replied some absurd stuff about how my dog wants to fight him.
