Actually, someone threatened Zok and his parents with their IP. People were calling his parents with harassing phone calls, calling his work, gave out an extremely detailed list of basically everything you'd need to fuck over his own life as well as the lives of his parents. That was the straw that broke the camel's back. I suspect he had been wanting to do this all along and a pretty devastating PI attack was enough for him to say, "Welp! That did it! TTFN!"
