Monsters, on Netflix. It was surprisingly good, but a bit slow.

the two latest spider-man films. never saw them until now thinking they wouldn't be that good, but holy shit andrew garfield is the BEST spider-man anyone will ever be. actually reminds me of the comics i read in middle school.

I was on the fence about him with the first one, but I have to admit he was pretty damn good in the sequel.

yeah! he's actually carries on the humor the character has in the comics, which we never got to see with toby maguire. read that garfield took on a lot of yoga, training his flexibility and movement to play it all right, which is so awesome. garfield moved like a cat compared to maguire.

Nymphomaniac, Vol. 1. I can finally be honest when I tell people that I've seen Shia LaBeouf's penis.

Transformers 3

While Mark Wahlberg was definitely a step up from that Shia Lebouf faggot, the movie still sucked dick. For the first hour I enjoyed all the flashy explosions and michael bay cliches but, like all of these movies, after a while the impact wore off. They literally repeated the exact same formula as the other transformers movies but threw in retarded dinosaur robots so optimus prime could ride one into battle, as if that was going to make us forget that this is a shit movie.

Kill Bill 1 and 2

While I've seen it several times over the years, it still is on my list of top favorite movies ever. The reason I wanted to watch it recently is because I knew Lil Guru would probably enjoy it... as well as share the context of some of the lines, music, and martial arts discipline he had been hearing about in other places. As expected, he loved it.

Snowpiercer. Was kind of surprised to see Park Chan Wook's name appear in the opening credits, but it did assure me that this was probably going to be good. And it was, though I didn't see a whole lot of his 'influence' or style in it. One hell of a ride. Kind of weird at times, but I like that.

Last movie I watched was Dead Poet's Society (for the first time) a day or two after Robin Williams died. I don't watch a lot of movies, and this particular one had been one I had meant to watch since my highschool love introduced me to it(never watched it but that movie brought us together nonetheless). It's probably going to be a long time before I watch another movie that will match up to the emotional impact that movie had at that time. Dayum.

Since it's not technically out in theaters until October 31st, it's safe to say that the last movie I watched.. hypothetically.. was "Horns".

You know, I really enjoyed this movie. The movie, I assume, is quite funny and very interesting.. a bit of a mystery movie in a sense, with plenty good bits of vulgar humor centralized around Daniel Radcliffe's character.. which makes it even more interesting. I'm not going to spoil anything, but I will say that I initially disliked the ending.. but after re-consideration, I changed my mind.. hypothetically. I assume this movie is one that I'm going to enjoy and actually want to keep on hand for a future re-watch.

In short, I recommend this film.

I wasn't sure where it was going or if it was even going anywhere more than being an entertaining journey

Spoiler
Surprised that it turned out to be an elaborate setup for a simple but sentimental love story
