I have been wanting to make some duck for supper here in the next week... any good recipes?

Oh man I have only ever had duck once in my life. it was with a mushroom duck liver risotto, with the breast on the side. It was pretty good but I cant remember the details. Maybe that could give you an idea though.

Yea it does actually sound pretty good. Thanks.

Sweet! Glad I could help.  Spent all day putting together Ikea furniture and looked up to see it was 10:30pm so I made up some quick buttermilk waffles.

Had another simple stir fry tonight (carrots, brocolli, chicken, seasoning, red peppers, melted cheese, and a few croutons for crunch) just because it is relatively quick and the ingredients were readily available.. Getting burned out so I'll probably mix it up tomorrow night.. I could really go for a white russian, but sadly.. I'm all out of vodka. For shame...

This is a little preemptive, but we are "planning" on cooking at work tomorrow night. So here is a run down of the menu: deer backstrap, deer sausage, ribs, chicken/sausage perlo, potato salad, baked mac&cheese, rolls. Now as long as there are no major fuckups or any machine breakages we will be some fat sleepy motherfuckers by quitting time.

No fruit salad with vodka in it or magic mushroom hamburger and cheese pizza?

It is work after all. :D

Maybe some mandarin pineapple tropical punch with some MDMA in it.

LOL, no, I work with industrial equipment. As much as I would live do that and with as many redundant safety's we have in place. Someone would try something really stupid like try to run like a hamster inside a 10' diameter ring on razor sharp 52" long knife that spins at 8k rpms.

Made an attempt at my own jalapeno poppers for a light snack earlier. Have to say I didn't do to shabby. Fresh jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese and bacon. Rolled in panko bread crumbs and fried! YUM

I awaoke this afternoon to my wonderful fiance having made me some perfectly seasoned pork chops, alfredo noodles, and loaded baked potato mashes potatoes.. definitely not a bad breakfast.. or errr.. dinner.. Difficult to define when you wake up at 7 in the evening. Been coming out of a sickness  and the sleep routine has suffered as a result of sporadic recovery.

You need to draw her a serene tub this evening, for some serenity and relaxation, then surprise her and eat the hell out of that pussy.

Actually I managed to piss her off for an hour or two.. Not intentionally, just one of those freak arguments over something small.  We reconciled though and ended the night good. But oh do I have plans of devouring her tomorrow.. probably would have today, but I need a shower and I respect her enough to present myself only in the highest form. (And because those are somewhat her rules and not mine.. lol)

Just put a whole chicken in the slow cooker for tonight. Seasoned with lemon, garlic and a few other spices. Also working on making some homemade rolls and later when its finished making some homemade mashed potatoes with sour cream, chives and maybe some cheese Idk they may just be plain.. I don't want to take away from the chicken....

I made up that spice rub for some venison backstrap I had. It'd be better with a little fresh garlic rather than powdered, but ground ancho chiles are awesome.
