Do you mean a liquid-filled gel capsule, or just a regular capsule? IR diazepam only comes in tablets (assuming you are in the US). There are extended release diazepam capsules, but they're not marked with 25, green, or 25mg, and they are rarely given since diazepam has such a long halflife on its own.

edit - just thought I would add, if the person ripping you off doesn't even bother to find a pill that looks like valium, then you know they hold you in the highest contempt.

One thing is for sure, it's not diazepam. It's also not hydroxyzine like niglet suggested.

My guess would be that it is a shitty OTC drug like nyquil, or some of the paint has been worn off. Since nothing is matching his exact description, we can't determine exactly what it is, but we can rule out diazepam completely. OP got hosed.

I was thinking aleve or ibuprofin at first, but the doseages don't match up with the '25', iirc those drugs have doseages in the hundreds of mgs
