I'm about to buy a hat press and start selling hats with my graffiti designs on them.  I'm also gonna start making polymer clay jewelry and start selling it.  I was making 600$ a month after 1 month of passing out flyers for lawncare.  But my car broke down so I'm switching to shirts and hats and jewelry.

I'm making close to 1,200 a month working a regular job, which it sounds like that is what you are doing anyways. Plus I don't have any over-head.

In the past I thought it was difficult for a felon to get a job, but I've work with a quite a lot of felons at different jobs.  At my last job there was a guy that did 10+ years for a 2nd degree murder or something and we were making $18 an hour but the work was shit.

If I were you, I'd try to get either a union job, or a job at a small company that's willing to hire you.  I don't think retail stores will hire people with criminal records.

id love to do the pedi cab thing I applied for one of the major companies but they quit talking to me after i believe they did there own background check, i have a dwi misdameanor, theft felony, and a a family violence felony.. i think they just quit talking to me.. it kind of sucks man

i ride a bike everyday and am relativly healthy for that kind of job. i have so many bills at the moment and incoming child support its crazy

its just I never went to school and don't have any specialized traininng, i used to work at safeway/randalls as a meat cutter but quit to work for blizzard and then caught another felony.

and i understand what you are talking about, plenty of felons have jobs, but im having difficulty finding a new job. I've been a felon for almost 10 years

this isn't me trying to make a scapegoat for myself
