That could result in you having seizures while incarcerated.  On that hard floor, with minimal (also uncaring) medical staff around.

Goddammit Haiti, can you really not think of a better strategy than that? There are other anxiolytics that don't show up on drug tests.
Such as? I'm just as worried about withdrawal seizures as I am about going to prison.

Hope we didn't discourage you from getting off the stuff :/

Why not just talk to a doctor and get this going?

Try diclazepam 2mg (=12mg diazepam, lasts 3 days) you can get it or otherwise flubromazepam 8mg (=6mg diazepam, lasts 5 days.)

Always the chance of the Doctor not prescribing the benzo and giving some other shit like an antidepressant. Being straight up with a doctor and saying i'm addicted and I'd like to have some k-pins or something with a long half life to help me ween off? This would for sure put me on a list of drug users database or whatever and get prescribed Ibuprofen instead of opiates should I sustain some painful injury in the future.

Well, you could just tell them the symptoms of y disorder that x medication is usually prescribed for. Something that will account for the same failures as etizolam on a drug test. You may not even have to take much to trigger it, I don't know. And one that's considered non-abusable and generally easy to attain.

Rehab center seems a bit over kill, though probably what I need. This would in turn cost lots of money, cause lots of embarrassment amongst my family, and cause me to lose my job.

Going to jail/prison will cause this even worse! What will your charge be if you violate parole? If it's a felony you'll have trouble for it for the rest of your life, unless things have/are changed. Not to mention how much you'll hate the process and spending time in there.

Yes I'll have to go to a doctor. Maybe get on Lyrica thats a benzo yeah? To be frank I don't think I'll get drug tested cos my charge isn't drug related, but i'll need something to fall back on just in case I do. Not going to go into my charge anymore than its not drug related.

You should switch to the phenibut completely. After you have settled yourself on that keep a taper log to chart your progress. The transition is guaranteed to be uncomfortable but atleast you won't have a seizure.

What's your plan?  I really hope you get this going, and do it the right way.  It's pretty obvious that the links to Alzheimer's are real; taking benzos and the like is like the opposite of performing neuroplasticity exercises.  And if you do have seizures from the withdrawal, that can cause a lot of terrible things to happen.  Like lifelong neurological disorders or physical limitations, maybe.  Where do you live?  Dunno why I didn't think of this before, but last I heard in the US etizolam was legal.  Gives a false positive for benzos and you'd likely run into some trouble after failing the screening, but after you fail that they send it in to a lab and those people determine exactly what detected in your urine.  If you got your lawyer involved you probably wouldn't suffer legal consequences beyond the initial whatever and cleaning up the mess.  Dunno if they'd take you to jail upon failing the screening or wait for the official results, but yeah.

Kind of a dick move though, bringing more attention to the drug.  Guess it's not gonna maintain legal status forever, because of stuff like this.

A single dirty drop from your PO is not going to land you in jail for the weekend let alone prison. Your 2nd or 3rd dirty drop and you will start to spend 3-7 days in county.

If you are honest with your PO about what you are going through then they will let it slide. But the fact that you told them you were using drugs in the first place was just flat out idiotic.

Just keep on tapering as you were and you will be fine.

WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU WORRIED ABOUT,
etzolam is a  thienodiazepine not a benzo. There is not a 5, 7, or 12 panel test that will trigger a positive. Even a sample sent for  gc/ms will show negative. relax and take a few more etiz. Im tested every week and after a year on etiz  - i show pure as a newborn BABE.

I did know that etiz technically isn't a benzo, but I was under the impression that it still showed up 8-panel tests... do you know which tests they were using?
