I Have fixed her shit like ten times.Each time the computer is so full of malware and crap ware,Trojans, and now ransomeware .
What OS is best for a shit head that cant keep clicking shit.
I thought about a chrome book but then she would have to setup a Google account so thats like way scary shit for her.
I'm at a loss here.

But seriously, any OS has a browser, and every browser can be clicked. Best you can do is put a good malware/adware active scanner on the current OS and browser and hope for the best.

Chrome seems like a good candidate but it requires a internet connection at all times,My MOM only has DSL with no WiFi.
Apple seems ok but I don't have that kind of cash just so she can send out a few e-mails and make the next Church Program,Ya that's the other thing,She makes the program for the local Church and all she knows is msword .Oh and its not like she lives next door +3hours one way,6 hour round trip fuck me I hate the drive.
So I want a laptop with a bulletproof OS and if it fucks up she can mail it to me and I can send it back fixed.

in windows you could set up an AV profile to stop her opening zip or binary attachments to emails. if she doesn't change her applications around a lot, make sure her data and OS are on separate partitions, then create an image of the OS partition. if she gets anymore trojan magnums, just boot to clonezilla or whatever and reload the clean OS.

failing that you could always install a beginner lunix distro like Ubuntu, Puppy, Mint or something. once set up there's not too much that will go wrong, and if she fucks something up you can always just SSH in to fix it.

Knoppix.. insert disk.. boot.. full fledged OS w/browser and no hard disk required.. everything is loaded from RAM.. fast.. easy.. turn off the computer.. POOF.. all gone until next boot from CD.

Yeah, SpectraL, I don't think it's really the best idea to give a live OS to someone who will be expecting persistence, and has no hope of ever understanding the distinction between a ramfs/volatile memory and non-volatile storage.

Your advice, as usual, is pure shit.

Set her up on Ubuntu. 99% of the malware she's clicking on is Windows executable. Linux won't run that shit. You could even lock it all down, skin it so it looks like Windows, put Libre Office on there, rename the icons for those to the same as MS version, even download the icon files and change the icons so they look like MS Office. Also, roll an image of a clean install with all her normal programs and files. If the system does get fucked, run a script remotely to do a wipe and recover from image.
