That'll make this place stand out. Let's get Arnox right on that. A well upcoming four months spent, as we get members to contribute their shitty, autistic designs, then take a bunch of polls, and then ... that's it. Nothing else will happen. Oh I see. That would be rather interesting. But quite a task as well since we have over 50 sub-forums to change the board icon of. The good news is, I keep a big collection of awesome pics that I've found throughout my wanderings on the netz and I have pretty much everything from landscapes to miniguns to processors to gravekeepers. So finding cool pictures would NOT be a problem at all.

Last time I polled everyone about that, it was a massive no, saying that totse never had a logo and we didn't need one here. Just needed stylized text. But I suppose I can do it again.

That was half of the objection. The other half was that it just looked like shit, not "cool".

So, are you going to select some 'cool images' from your collection and promote them to the userbase? And if they are rejected is the userbase then going to have to spend a ridiculous amount of energy getting you to understand the images you've selected are not desirable?

Or is this going to be bit more of a democratic free-for-all where submissions can be made by anyone for a given forum and then voted on by that forum's occupants?

Probably both. I select the images. (won't necessarily be from my collection) They vote on what images they would like that I've selected.
