Yeah, I was in a middle school where like 25% of the students got accepted into a high school with an average SAT score of like, 2300. I got accepted into a high school that was sort of like that but a notch or two behind, got expelled in 9th grade. In schools like that, being a lunatic was the norm. After I had to leave there, I spent the next three years or so realizing that those 14 year olds are still literally smarter than anyone I've ever spoken to in real life outside of that sort of context. It's like, they all spoke the language, but outside of academia and scholars, since everyone is so egotistical, they'll assume if you say something that doesn't make sense to them, you're stupid. If everything you say to other people doesn't make sense to them, you must have something wrong with you. People cut me off mid sentence constantly because they think I'm in the middle of a fucking manic episode, never take anything I have to say seriously, where in reality I just talk how I type. I talk in paragraphs because not everything can be explained in two words. Other people can't process this much information at once so they think I'm mentally ill. It's such a fucking ridiculous situation, to be right about things to the extent where everyone assumes you're wrong. EVERYONE.
