Just tried nicotine for the first time in my life at 24. I am now one of the cool people.
You should have seen me. V_V Reading the manual an unnecessary number of times to make sure I didn't miss or misunderstand anything, hands sweating as I mixed the nicotine and PG, trying to find the optimal dosage for a non-smoker using it for nootropic/therapeutic purposes (not found), checking one last time to make sure there aren't any possible interactions or adverse effects.
I have no idea how long to hold the power button and draw, how many puffs to take. I'm using 10mg/ml. I've taken 2 short puffs and am afraid to take anymore in case I overdose. I think I may have felt a small rush with the first hit, a feeling of neurotransmitters being released. My ability to focus seems greater, my attention/range of visual focus narrower, and somewhat calmer.
I hate this, this isn't like my other drugs/supplements. How much fucking nicotine is being delivered into my system? How do I know when I've had the optimal amount and when to redose? What is an optimal dose generally supposed to feel like?
I wish there was vape that allowed you to input the strength of your liquid and estimated and displayed how much nicotine had been delivered based on the resistance and voltage/wattage used along with how long the power button had been held down. The ml markings only go up in .5 increments, I can't estimate it using that.
