I was thinking it would be cool if we had something like those web 1.0 um, what the fuck were they called...like portals or something? oh, wait maybe it was ring. yeah a web ring. like a collection of sites in a particular theme or subject. you guys remember that? It would be cool if we had something like that for sites that are truly about free speech. Given the fracturing of communities that's been happening, I think we need a way to reach out to other communities and create a stronger bond.

8chan's /pol/ is pretty dead and they only have like 5 boards. They have embedded gifs tho, Probably be a gradual migration. The last time I was on /pol/ was like a week ago and a cpl fags were spamming shit about 8chan and m00t selling out and apparently some 4chan mod is fucking that blue haired gross thing whatever her name is. I post on /pol/ like everyone else to make broad overreaching statements designed to provoke responses immediately and theres little to no immediate return on 8chan so I dunno.

I like that guy though, fuck does he ever have a positive attitude but he isn't a faggot about it in a handicapable basketball league or rock band or some shit, he's just doing his thing wearing mario pajamas because it'd be weirder if he tried to act like he shouldn't do that. I hope things work out for him and 8chan

There's the occasional comment like that but I'd say 90% of the community thinks he's fucking awesome, we affectionately call him hotwheelz. Honestly, who cares what he looks like or anything else about him - he's running a website and he's doing a damn good job of it. Much like how even though Arnox is a mormon dragon fag, most of us still think he's a pretty cool guy because he's actually doing stuff for our community and listening to us.

Yeh I get that one can make fun of someone and still respect them.  It is the first thing I thought of though, 'I bet they talk some shit to that guy'.  I have worked in too many factories and been on zoklet too long.  You learn how to talk some shit working in a factory, I'll tell ya.  Does the guy talk shit back to people, or what?

He was live streaming the other day to talk about the partnership with 2channel and somebody asked him if they mind people calling him "hotwheelz" and he said first that, no he actually finds it endearing and also that he really doesn't care what people call him and that we can call him whatever awful fucking names we can come up with because...it's just the fucking internet! considering how much support he's getting from the community (financial, moral, and emotional support), he'd have to be awfully fucking narcissistic to let a few comments get under his skin.

I suppose when you have to live life in the kind of situation he's in, you develop a pretty thick skin.

I think I'll float the idea in the 8chan irc channel. maybe someone will have some ideas of how to implement something like this in a more modern way.

of course Arnox would also have to be cool with cross-promotion, but I don't see why he wouldn't be. I could definitely see us getting some traffic from the 8channers, not because our forum has any broad appeal to them but because there are SO few sites left where people can openly discuss things. You could definitely use some SEO and stuff advertising the fact that this is a #gamergate discussion friendly forum (not officially taking a stance on it either way, just saying you're free to talk about it) to bring in some users.

Mmm, snorted caffeine is pretty good. I had looked up the bioavailability of rectal and it's pretty low. New favorite method of ingestion, faster onset, and it feels much cleaner in a way, smoother with less negative side effects. Think of how perfect it would be, you're both trapped in terrible soul crushing destructive environments that you hate, working low paying menial jobs you loathe, and don't really have much that should be tying you down, once you resolve any feelings of obligation. Why not make a plan to move together to a place with much better opportunities? Some areas are booming and have very low unemployment, along with high wages, and you don't need to be particularly skilled, some are entry level and still pay well, with quick opportunities for advancement and a nice raise once you get out of the training period. Or a large metropolitan area, maybe a place with great weather and a good transportation system, if you prefer one; a lot of people and opportunities, many things to do. It's such a different experience compared to small towns or dying regions. You already know each other and would get along, Hydro being an angel and having withstood the horrors of her family her entire life. By contrast, you would probably be a savior to her. You could live together to save money on rent and due to not having to have duplicates of many things, support each other, have someone there when you come home at night. I imagine it can be very nice to not having to sleep alone every day of your life, to come home to an empty house every single day. You both like drugs and are very open to experiences, it would be great to have someone to share them with, not having to feel any shame, to hide things and hold back like you would with nearly everyone.

I was actually having a discussion with my mother the other day about what exactly the financial advantages are of getting married - not of being with someone and pooling your resources together, but actual legal marriage. We came to a conclusion that there really isn't many good reasons, one example we thought of would be say a man having a small business that he's running and needs to do particular things for loans and stuff and tax write offs, and how that could conflict with getting a mortgage. Well in that case it would be nice to have a girlfriend you're not legally married to to get the mortgage so it doesn't fuck up what you're doing with yr small business.

the author actually acknowledges that being "together" but not married would be better financially but then he goes on about how those relationships aren't as stable...which is fucking hilarious, give the divorce rate is high as fuck.

in the conversation I had with my mom she made the point that gay people have been fighting for the ability to get married and by the time they're able to in every state no one is going to want to, lol.
