Sad.
Another case of mindless revenge, imo. People who are raped often experience a lot of confusing feelings following the incidents. And at least in the US, you're much more likely to be raped by a family member or close family friend than you are some crazy stranger on the street. Guilt is one of those feelings many people report feeling, and to add onto that with the death of a person (likely someone close), AND losing your father after he turns himself in... yeah, that's no good for this 14 year old kid.
I've said it before, and with how much you guys like to talk about rape I'll probably say it again. We need to act in the best interests of the victim, and not focus our efforts on petty revenge.
On the other hand, this is India. Had this man not been tortured and murdered, he likely wouldn't have faced any serious legal repercussions for the crime he allegedly committed. And maybe it was best for this poor kid and society at large to have this man killed. Hard to imagine murder ever being justified, but who knows... maybe what the father did here was for the best.
Assuming, yeah as Arnox said. That this wasn't just some random guy haha.
