He didn't "puss out" because he made the tactical decision to not go out in a blaze of bullets. If you are going to use that logic, then the last 2 months he "pussed out" because he sought refuge in the woods instead of staying at the barracks and engaging in a firefight with the backup that would inevitably come.
Also, while it would have been somewhat cool if he would have never been found...now that he has been captured, we can possibly find out exactly WHAT made him do all of this. So far those details are sketchy at best, just knowing he was a military historian and had a vague "problem" with police.
Who knows, maybe he'll write a book someday...and potentially inspire similar acts. Maybe his history will be a wakeup call for law enforcement and figure out exactly what they did wrong to piss this guy off. Any of you read Chris Dorner's manifesto? Its quite thought provoking and does shed A LOT of light on exactly why he killed the cops that he did, and put a big fat spotlight on corruption and coverups that are still going on in the LAPD. It certainly changed the tone/imagery of Dorner, when the mainstream media just wanted to brush him off as some fucked up whacko....when in truth he truly was one of the "good guys" that actually got shit on by a lot of dirty and scummy people, which was the catalyst for his murdering spree.
