Just Been To Court!

hi all,

its averagebloke here from zok,

well for all those that are an aware of my situation ill fill you in.

at the start of 2014 a 'friend' and i came across a police badge, but instead of hand it back in we made id's for ourselves that said we were detectives and we would take it in turns with having the badge and putting our id inside the window on the wallet,

well we used it everywhere and for everything, we did some house raids on drug dealers and accepted bribes for traffic offences ect. we had an awesome time.


however in march 2014 my 'friend' got busted for some stuff and was facing jail so he told the cops everything that i had done and gave them my details. i was searched and they found the badge and i was charged with about 20 charges, i got bail and that was that.

yesterday i finally went up to get sentenced and i copped 12 months probation. a $150 fine, and 120 hours of community service and was told that i was very lucky that i wasn't jailed.

now I'm thinking of ways to get out of com service, cos fuck that shit! i aint got time to be mowing lawns with junkies

Since this reply is on topic, I have to say.. that's one of the most retarded things I've ever heard. You impersonated an officer? Raided drug houses? Took bribes for traffic violations? Did you have an outfit? People aren't just going to assume your a cop because you say so and have a badge.. and fines and community service? Get the fuck outta here.. Short of being super rich to buy some big lawyer to work your case, and finding some sort of technicality in your arrest.. none of what you said seems in the least way legitimate.

Rook, I don't know what kind of Mayberry world you live in, but yeah....morons try this scam quite often. I'm not saying its "smart", so I'm not arguing that point...but you are wrong to call "bullshit" because it is quite commonplace.

As recently as 2 weeks ago we had one arrested out my way, after he mistakenly tried pulling over a real cop that was off duty...

Some famous dude was arrested near where I live for trying to pull over a car full of cops on their way back from a cop convention.  They released the 911 tape and the cop is like 'this is officer bla-bla with the blah-blah PD and we have some fucktard trying to pull us over and its obvious hes not law enforcement'

It was national news

Agreed. I knew a guy who did this for a while, though he only "confiscated" drugs from brainless high school kids, just small stuff like pocket change, pain killers, maybe an ounce of weed here and there, had enough sense not to pull over grown men with fully developed brains.

Also OP, if that's all you got for impersonating a police officer, you're the luckiest guy in Australia. Bite the bullet and do your community service, it's not that bad after the first week. My first dui got me jail time, a probation sentence twice as long as yours, and a fine ten times the amount, be greatful and just get it over with.

Just do the time, man. Be thankful you got off easy.

I recommend finding something in your community that you'd want to do service at. I do volunteer work at a local aircraft museum, although it's not for community service. It's a great place to hang out, learn stuff, and make cool things. Find something that interests you, contact them and find out if you can do community service through them.

Some churches do 'coffee & donuts' after they hold mass. You can volunteer to  help run the feeding for easy community service. You can get 3-4 hours every sunday for just brewing coffee, and giving people pastries.

OP can't be from the US.  In the US you'd do at least jail time for impersonating an officer.

Just volunteer at a T.V station and see if you can do some time doing "customer evaluations". It'll suit your lazy ass.
