The Totse2 Memorial
« on: May 17, 2014, 06:34:37 am »
If you missed it, totse2.net will now be officially shut down. Talk about the memories you have of totse2 and pay your respects here if you like. Some things I'm really gonna miss:

The totse2.net days
A whole lot of the old members
The text files
The old IRC/shoutbox convos
Easy-e not being a 'tard

RIP

January 2009 - May 2014

If there's anything I miss it's the brilliant, funny, interesting posters we've lost over the years due to the forum devolving into such a shit place to be.

Don't worry mate, I'm still here.
You don't have to be a student of Sun Tzu to realize that going face-down ass-up for a bunch of paedo's is a bad move for a number of reasons. I hope the final dimming embers of Totse aren't finally extinguished by a few kiddie-fiddlers. Even death by furries would be better than that.

The best way to mourn a loss is to celebrate its life, which I believe is what you have created here. I think it's awesome that we had what we had for so long. I stick to what I've always said in that the community is what makes a forum, not the site itself. Totse2 had many faces along the way, and regardless of who had the red button, you guys as the community is what kept it together.

With The Sanctuary, the community is not lost; rather it is reborn. From one shell to another, the community as a whole will be the same as will be the ideology. We will just have less "issues" that had penetrated down to the roots of T2.

The best site in the world is worthless if you don't have the members. They are the final and most important thing a forum can have.
